The way the gov. is reducing the comm. industry in this country & importing a cheaper product is one of the reasons of this country's downfall & one of the reasons the US is in the economic ressesion. We no longer have leaders like Washington and Jefferson who put the needs of the country ahead of personal gain. Today's politicians only have their own interests in mind. Speaking from a low side, each indiviual comercial fisherman created 10-15 accompanying jobs with the production of his catch.

You are so right--we are happy that Wild Caught played a role in getting a bill passed to save working waterfronts for fishermen in NC, as well helping as one crabber's fight to fish off his own family land. We just have to keep after the you-know-whats!

Great video! My dad is a commerical fisherman that docks in Sneads Ferry. I know most the people in this film...even though I'm on the west coast now--I still try to make people see "our story"--....hopefully in three years I'll be back in Sneads Ferry!
