male or female gamer, gender makes no difference. we are all human, we just have different genders. This makes no reason to be divided and go againt each other. we were all created equal with the purpose to live, love, laugh, and reproduce (to keep human life living on throughout various generations). sexism is a sort of discrimination by those that are JEALOUS and have no other way to be angry but to take it out on others. so to all sexists: GROW UP!!!!!!! and I mean ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!

i TOTALLY agree with you, gamerchix has helped me meet other girl gamers to game with online. at one point i considered giving up gaming online because of the guys who discriminate, because it really does get annoying after a point.

Gamerchix has also helped me find nice guys on xbl. I know there are quite a few nice guys out there its just that I tend to come across more jerks.

I think you misinterpreted her message, at no point did she say all men are assholes. None of the gamerchix I've met think that (lots still game with their male friends or boyfriend too). It's just nice to meet other girls to game with. Whether you're male or female, if you go into matchmaking without your mates, you're bound to bump into plenty of annoying people on xbl, it's more fun going in with people on your friend list and communities like gamerchix are a great way of expanding it.

yea true that if you go onto match making your bound to find someone that is annoying, but that happens male or female, plenty a time, and do you know what we do, we just simply ignore it becuase in the end there is almost no chance that i would ever see that person again and most likly there some kid from halfway across the world. ok i suppose it is nice to have a community and yes she didn't actually call males assholes, but she was having a general go about the gender as a whole in parts.

Then you don't have the hassle of muting+blocking people in every match ;) I don't think she was being sexist, just acknowledging the difference between the male and female dominated forums and stating her preference, nowhere did she slag off men as a whole.

That's how she felt the general attitude was, not the entire male population, by looking deeper I think you're reading too much into it but can't really be arsed to argue about it anymore.
I know of people that don't put the mic in because they don't want abuse, I think it's a shame to have to do that, I like having my mic on, it's kinda helpful in team games.

I don't know if you saw it but I posted a link to a blog in my video's description kind of clarifying some of my thoughts, I didn't really get my whole point across in my video. But yeah, I do support the good sides of xgx, I really do. I understand you guys completely, I just chose to approach the crap we all have to face in a different way. I understand where you're coming from too, I agree that a community of people you can relate to is an awesome thing to have. I have to disagree with one thing though, I think that good point of xgx is that it shows that females in gaming aren't as rare as people think. I think a reason that we get so much crap is that some guys believe that we are rare and special (go take a look at my comments from guys lol) but if xgx has shown me anything is that there are A LOT of girl gamers out there.
