  • thx a lot sir for replying ...respect

  • sir very nice...played...lovely tune..i gave it a name..." Sleeping Angel "..and sir i just wanna knw..how you gave the color contrast and depth..coz when i shoot in my Q3HD...its not that colored..means i want rich colors...plz suggest me video editing software for it

  • @guitarandme Thank you for your kind comment. There is no processing done in the video editor, I used an audio editing program, REAPER, to combine the videos.

The color and clarity is due to having lots and lots of light. I probably had about 400 watts equivalent light going when I shot that video. I don't know of any way to get clarity and color without enough light.

  • Fran, I host Facebook's Kay Kraft Guitar site, and am a serious collector of these. I am always looking for parts. If you still have what's left of the axe, we should talk? Thanks

  • @kerrykrishna Kerry, I've searched high and low for that guitar, clearly I passed it along some time ago and lost track of the memory.

  • Beauteous music, slack key is amazing. Thanks for going to the editing process. Great result because of it..

  • @kerrykrishna Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I hope you'll visit my slack key channel as well. I love your Kay Kraft guitar - I had one in pieces but never got it back together again.

  • Hi Fran,

I had problem opening Q3HD's mov files in Reaper on Windows XP. Could you give me some pointer? Also, if I have a multi-hour video, any idea how well Reaper can handle the size?

    Thanks

  • @q3playing Howdy, have you installed the ffmpeg DLL files. The info is available in the REAPER Wiki. I can't put a link here, but you can find it in your favorite search engine, then search the Wiki for "video" then go to the bottom of the entry for "Improved Video Support." Also check the REAPER forum for current availability of the DLL files.

I really can't say how REAPER will handle multi-hour video, my longest is 1/2 hour or so.
