  • @macnet83 Hey, i tried two different acupuncturists but only one really showed some results. I have attached a link for yelp in case you were interested. Also i went to an herbalist which really helped out in addition to the acupuncture. Hum looks like i can't post a link, so just search for "21st Century Herbs & Acupuncture" in "Rowland Heights, CA". Good Luck, i still hear noise at night but during the day I hardly notice it any more.

  • mine fortunetly is not like this but is very audible...:( for one year now

  • I have in my left ear. thanks for sharing and lets hope there's a cure in the future! good luck!

  • I have tinnitus because of very much shooting with guns and hunting without ear protection...I hate it.

  • I have occaisional tinnitus, and this is what it sounds like but it's kind of quiet. Also, if it bothers you at night, try listening to music or ambience at night to lessen it.

  • @Gir77661

Occasional...? Sounds pretty much like you have a mobile mast (f.e. LTE broadband mobile Internet) nearby. Check around your house if you see one or measure if there's one hidden somewhere (often in church towers). They cause tinnitus sound and humming in the head.

  • after i listen to this, i feel like my tinnitus goes away.. ive heard that tinnitus is caused my neurons in the brain that aren't being stimulated enough because the hairs associated with them are damaged, so instead they continuously fire. One possible cure is stimulating those neurons by listening to sounds that trigger them; it's not good to have them be so unstimulated. it's possible that listening to this periodically may increase the residual affect it has on me & "cure" my tinnitus.

  • 24 hours since the only concert I've ever been to in my life, and I'm scared shitless I will have this in my left ear permanently.

  • This is the exact zinging ringing that I hear 24/7. I Sleep with the TV one so I don't hear it.....annoying beyond belief.

  • EVERYBODY WHO HAS TINNITUS! : My teacher HAD tinnitus 10 years ago... But he can't hear the sound anymore. There is hope. I don't have tinnitus i just wanted to know how it would sound like IF i had it.

  • @Swedishguy001 Ance, right?

  • @ZpeczerN WHAT DE FAAUHCK are you doin here

    yes ance

  • @Swedishguy001 Im subscribing you, and ance is a she -.-''

  • @Swedishguy001 thank you ;)

  • @Swedishguy001 after a certain amount of time you learn to tune out to it (ive had its for 18 years), so he probabyl still has it, but in a different form...it comes in all types of sounds and noises.

  • Mines a little higher frequency but just as bad.

  • @chernobleman it's like mine probably

  • So.... I'm fucked if I have tinnitus then right? it's been there for a few days.

  • Mines a bit like this, nice effort.

  • mine sounds like this except with a pause every sec.

  • will be 19 next month ... I hear a higher pitch than this one, but it's similar. I hear that all the time i have it for a year and 2 months . It's hard at night . I hope it will gone soon. i am so suffering, my life was destroyed since it started, SOMEBODY HELP ME!! PLEASE I BEG!!!

  • I get high voice like car or Some like grill machine

  • mine is a little higher pitch than this, but yeh.. this is what it sounds like -- its usually not a problem, except for when you are trying to sleep =(

  • @Desmondjill

Couldnt agree with you. I was surprised and happy

with my decision. I tried everything to cure my

tinnitus. There are so many shams out there for

treating tinnitus. I also tried taking pills but what

it gave me was a side effects. Finally I found this:

    StopTinnitusToday.info

    I almost didnt gave it a shot.Boy Im glad I did. I

got results by following the ebook program.

  • i have a rushing air sound in my ear from swimmers ear infection, is this tinnitus?

  • is it really this bad? holy shit.

  • True Story of my life .... im 14 and have it since i was born, everyone who don´t have it, be happ, who have im feeling with you

  • @Badstrike52 Me too. I remember laying in bed at the age of 4 and being overwhelmed with the ringing sound. It's not an issue if there is background noise, but a quite room it is. I used to listen to loud bass in my cars, but it didn't make it any worst. My hearing is just as good too. Rock concerts, motorcycles and loud machinery like some jobs have are the biggest threat to people's hearing.

  • by five years I live with it , from an accident ( brain traumatic )

  • omg i get that sometimes i had a bad infection in both ears for over 6months i sure thats what caused it

  • been dealing with this for 15 years now ,it doesn't get any easier. it will drive you freaking mad.

  • i just got this shit in age of 17, the doctor said that there is a chance to get it away, i`m so fucking hoping for it

  • and is funny that people dont here it, just u

  • @javok7 right!

  • have to deal with this very often

  • Ok I need some ones help I hear a ringing like noise similar to this but not its not a long ring. And its not loud it doesn't happen much either but the idiot I am I crank my Ipod on full blast and jam! And I'm 15. Do I have tinnitus or not? Some body help me out!

  • @metalfreak4677 Well..I got it after fireworks, but I do a lot of gaming on some loud ass headphones...And,yes,you might have it...the reason that you dont hear it is becouse of other noises, like the tv,when you are listening to something with a higher tone and pich,it goes away...but I advise you rather visit a doctor after a few days,if it dosent go away, sometimes its just that yellow stuff on your eardrum, and sometimes its ear damage...

  • I'm 16

got it now for almost a year, learned to live with it.

Every night before I go to sleep, I have to pray to fall asleep.

  • I'm 15, and I have been having this since I was 12.

It fucks me up, sometimes I get extremely depressed. I have never been listening to loud music, and the sound is a little deep.

I fear that it will get worse... that I won't be able to live with it.

At night it can get really bad.

  • I am 17, 18 in 2 months.. I just started hearing a constantly noise in my right ear, for the last 2 days. It doesn't sound like this, but tinnitus can be different from person to person, I am a bit worried about that I am going to live with this my whole live, but I think you get used to it, right?

    - Thanks

  • im getting tinnitus slowly, im at age 16, have trouble getting to sleep at night i hate it :(

  • @toomuchcoke 15 here man...It started after a firework, and it wount stop, its eating away at me during night time, its 3 am here and I cant fall asleep, its driving me insane...I will probably visit a doctor...the sound is exactly the same for me...

  • @taliman007 yeah i better visit a doctor too :(

  • my tinitus sounds a bit similiar to yours, just a bit higher I think.

Mine started the day before a new year of school started (so on the 12th september 11), I don't know why but it really freaked me out that I would have to go to school tomorrow (It wasn't because I was sad that the holidays were over) but oh well... when I wanted to sleep at that night, after reading a book, I started to hear that sound and I still have it. The worst thing of it is that it got louder... I hope this stops -.-'

  • "My ears are ringing

    Ringing like empty shells

    My ears are ringing

    Ringing like empty shells"-Bob dylan

  • Well, i have it too and the first few months were very hard for me, but you will learn to ignore it after some time..And guess what? It began after a fucking cold...

  • @mangodrankje the first month was super hard for me too but then I got used to it and learned to live with it. just find it hard to fall asleep when I am more stressed or anxious. the sound gets louder. I started having it one year ago. now I have more loud again because I m having a tooth problem and I probably got more cold air on that ear. Lets hope it goes away or a cure is found!

  • @Firefox1095 did u get swimmers ear too? i know almost all about the ear

  • I have this on a daily basis and I sympathize with you:( I think it could just be related to sinuses or ear wax... anyone have any idea how to treat it?

  • annoying friend on skype sent me here

  • Mine is really faint and sounds a bit like a pc fan. It is really annoying...

At night I need to have some music playing to get asleep.

    I'm 14....

  • Hmmm. Yes, that is close. For me it is about 2 octaves higher pitch, not as loud, and it is stereoscopic. I get two different volumes. In my left temple it is more quiet, and the sound originates in a different locus.

  • I should be glad that my tinnitus isn't this loud. I still get distracted by that damn annoying sound though, its in both of my ears, i'm 16 and should see that it could be worse.

  • @KRDsonic you've the same story like me, i've this sound for just 11 hours now, and IT SUCKS!!! i'll go to an doc soon and get anything to stop this (in germany there're many ways to stop them, a new method is with sounds, you hear it for 6 hours per day and after a month it will stop or it will go much calmer :D ) (sry 4 bad english, germ. you know)

  • @michealpeacestewart what's the URL?

  • i feel sorry for people who have this..I really mean it.

  • My tinnitus is about the same pitch as yours though the volume is considerably low. It is caused from water..yes water. While I was taking a shower, water rushed into my right ear and got stuck in there (2 days ago) and from that day on (2 days ago) I hear tinnitus. I often had tinnitus after I listened to screamo songs with the volume high using headphones or something but it was temporary not like this one I have right now. I gotta admit though it is kinda cool :P teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • mine's in 1 ear. not loud but higher pitched

also i've been hearing crickets in both ears. for years. and i'm in mn.

  • And I thought mine was bad D:

  • I'm so so sorry for you brother.. But how high is the volume? is it high-pitched or low pitched ? i have pressure in my right ear for a few days. should i go see a doctor ?

  • I hear a higher pitch that's quieter and fades out after about 5 or 10 seconds about once or twice a week. I've been to one concert and I listen to my iPod almost on a daily basis. Maybe I should go easy on the music...

  • @StickGuy1994 lucky me i dont even listen to music and i mean never in fact...

  • This is the exact pitch I hear too!! And I too got mine from standing too close at a drum and bass gig, since then it's driven me to despair, some good days some real bad days. If I can offer you people anything it would be to respect your hearing for one, because this is the most annoying sound and to have it constant RINGING all the time drive you crazy, I played this to my partner and she could not even deal with it to half way through before demanding it be turned off, please look after you

  • Yours oscillates. Hmmmm. Mines a constant tone.

  • @vexamatic mine too

  • both of someone's ears disliked this.

  • I'am only 14 years and i hear that everyday!! That's terrible.!

  • once in a while i hear this! does it mean ill get tinnitus or does everyone hear this once in a while. i havent heard it for a quite while but when i do my mom or who ever is around me cant hear it.

  • @CQBairsoft2191 Same, once in a while i can hear a high pitched ringin, higher pitched than this.

  • Mine's a very similar sound, though more high pitched. It's freaking loud and it drives me mad, I can't concentrate at all really miss the sound of silence.

  • KRD thank you so much for your advice! I will never go to a concert. I will wear earplugs everytime. Is it really permanent? How loud is it in your ear ? As loud as in video on maxim volume ?? God.. Be strong and don't give up the fight..

  • Comment removed

  • I had the same issue as well. However i went to an acupuncturist and i was able to completely remove the noise from one ear. The other ear still have minor noise but i am continuing to go back and hopefully get a full recovery. I am 31 years old and I believe it was nerve damage for me. This could be an option for you. Good luck.

  • @jimmyz702 I tried acupunture but quit it after 2 or 3 sessions. how many sessions did you do? thank you

  • The top comments are exactly the same.

  • Wow you hear that ALL the time? :O

I've once been to a concert and it was so loud i started hearing a similar noise (less loud) for the rest of the night, but the next day i could hear clear again.

I didn't know for tinnitus before and thx for informing us, i'll take precaution's next time.

Oh and btw: isn't there any way of healing this thing?

  • Is it that loud?

  • tinnitus is really depressing me now. I dont know if im going deaf or what. I sometimes and i mean sometimes, listen to music a bit louder than recommended. I had otitis media back when i was around 7. My tinnitus is a radio static type sound, not ringing. The reason why I'm really scared is im only 13, and i dont wanna go deaf, really early. I love playing and listening to music.

  • @CaptainRex619 I dont like playing any instrument and I dont like listening to music AT ALL... so im off the hook :)

  • @CaptainRex619

i have that static sound too.

  • Also, for some reason it's impossible for me to move my body when this occurs, has anyone experienced that?? Like last night, I remember I was totally aware of everything around me, I knew I was having tinnitus, but then all my limbs were numb and I couldn't even lift them up, only until I concentrated really really hard and tried my best to take a deep breath and...woke myself up, the buzzing stopped. Kinda scary to think about :( Tinnitus only happens during sleep right?

  • @Arnetsew That's called Sleep Paralysis, unrelated to tinnitus.

  • To me tinnitus sounds like a cell phone vibrating but with a much higher pitch, pretty similar to this... I only hear it in my left ear, and last night was probably my 3rd time experiencing it. Can someone please let me know how I can temporarily fix this so I can put myself to sleep? Does this disorder lead to major hearing loss in the future? I'm pretty I got it because I haven't been getting enough sleep lately. If I sleep more from now on will it help? Can tinnitus be cured? thx

  • I hear that ringing sound when it's really quiet. :| It's annoying.

  • @seanutbrittles I never think too much about it, but now that I've looked it up I realized that what I hear when there's silence is not normal. Now I'm always thinking about it :(

  • @galept OMG me too. I thought the ringing was like part of nature or something. Like how crickets do that chirping sound. Then I searched about it in google.

  • Omg my story's just like yours. first real concert I"ve ever been to, so I was really excited. Me and a friend of mine stood right in front of the stage, next to a huge bass speaker and on the right this terribly loud guitar and drums. When I got back home I had to put on some music to get to sleep becasue the peep was so loud. After a few days, I really got worried but I never did anything about it. And now, a year later, I sincerely regret the fact I ever went to that concert.

  • this is the same to the tinnitus i hear.,after hearing a ringing noise i would feel dizzy.,what does it mean?

  • Ok, the doc says I have tinnitis. I can hear everyone, but when there is no sound my head produces a high pitched, low volume sound. As others said, it can be quite unnerving at night.

HOWEVER...I do not hear anything from this "video" other than an occasional thump or click. What is the frequency? Is it really producing a sound? Am I deaf to that frequency?

  • @Mr60515 There's two options, either there's a technical reason (sound accidentally turned off, speakers can't produce that frequency), or your ears truly cannot pick it up. It's fairly high pitched, though the ringing in my ears is higher.

  • I had tonsillitis yesterday and otitisat the same time so my Left ear got totally raped, now i hear this sound with verry high stronges i cry and cant sleep, i get totally craazy

  • That's the closest sound to my tinnitus from all videos on youtube...

  • This is very close to the tinnitus I hear. Left ear only. Sudden onset accompanied with what seemed like congestion and a fairly severe hearing loss, especially at the lower frequencies. Diagnosed with atypical Meniere's, no vertigo. Also known as secondary endolymphatic hydrops. I've ahd it about 16 months now with almost no change in my symptoms.

  • I have that fuck! .. Its Amazing hard to life white that.. ;(

  • I live with this everyday!..........Can God please shot it off!

  • @ditto1313 I sympathise

  • @Planetoxo , Thank you, it's still on, God has not found my switch to make the sound go off....but I'm hopeful.

  • @ditto1313 It would drive me crazy. You have to live in hope.

  • @ditto1313 lets keep hoping it will go away either by itself or if a cure is invented! good luck

  • @ditto1313 If I lived in a flat I would definately have jumped of it... it's driving me crazy

  • Why punish us like this?!

  • My tinnitus sounds like the scream from the characters when they fall and die in Ratchet and Clank 3...:S got that years ago, from having earphones too loud! ah well i'll get it treated please god

  • this aint too bad, just imagine watching a show where there's swearing and cursing all the time :D

  • changed my life 0_o

  • When I'm in a quiet room, I hear a sound as though a tv is on. Am I supposed to be hearing nothing? My dad said that it's blood flow in and around my ears, but I don't believe that. I think I may have it. Is it doctor diagnosed?

  • i got mine from 4 metal concerts right beside the amp, im part deaf, tinnitus suckkss

  • RACUST VIDEO SUZX

  • CopperVision brought me here

  • Fuck My ears!...Shit my brain im goin crazzzzyy..

  • I had this once...My "friend" shot a gun next to me before I was able to cover my ears....I heard this sound for about a month. I was almost thinking it wasn't ever going away(In some cases it doesn't) But yep, this is what it sounded like....My left ear for about a month lol Sucked.

  • coppercab like this now its shit

  • well i just found out that I have tinnitus

  • You poor man. Thank you for demonstrating what your tinnitus sounds like. I wasn't really aware of what it was before this. Simplynoise(dot)com is a great site I like to use to help me focus when studying, but I read that it helps some people (some with tinnitus) to sleep. Maybe you already know about it though.

  • ...tinnitus whatever, see u fucked me up real bad coppercab fuck u and ur ginger race

  • WTF coppercab u gave me tituous

  • COPPERCAB has tinnitus

  • coppercab brought me here!!!

  • this is the sound of no soul

  • just go deaf

  • coppercab

  • coppercab

  • GINGER PRICK BROUGHT ME HERE !

  • Raging mad ginger kid brought me here

  • CopperVision brought me here

  • Lol join the army and you will 9 times out of ten get this. I have it, it fucking sucks.

  • ginger kid that i thought died brought me here

  • @longshot1120 coppercab? ;)

  • @mrcam6868 too right

  • @longshot1120 but he is dead :S

  • Ots worst when you want to sleep the most and it keeps you awake. The dark silence that sould be, breaks by this sounds... Anyone else that have forgot how true silence sounds like?

  • I find it very shocking that you got tinnitus from one concert.

  • @AllTimeAesthetic So did I, but either way I have to live with it.

  • @KRDsonic I bet that the concert triggered it, but you had damage to your hearing before-hand.

Either way, I'm sorry that you have it. Do you have vertigo as well? Maybe it's Meniere's disease.

  • @AllTimeAesthetic Nope, I don't have vertigo. I had it once a long time ago but that was years ago.

My ear nose and throat doctor did some test on my ears where they send a sound in your ears, and if your ears are working fine they send vibrations back. My left one did, but my right one didn't so I know that my right ear is permanently damaged. My tinnitus isn't bad enough that it affects my life that much at least.

  • @AllTimeAesthetic It's perfectly possible. If you are standing right next to an amp for a significant period then it's going to damage you ear(s).

I had this from being next to an explosion but luckily it went away within the hour.

  • When I listen to this my tinnitus stops. Probably I don't really have it, I can hear it only if I concentrate >_<

  • We need to get the cure! I have the stereo one when no one is talking in the mike, and I can hear my heart beat, is not even my fault, my uncle always turn the music really loud and now I have it, yesterday I cried myself to sleep when I found out on the internet that I have it, and im 18 year old guy, I miss my normal life, I can hardly sleep with this noise I would wake up in the middle of the night, sometimes I wonder if death is gonna bring silence but I know better than that :'(

  • @daasianboi Get diagnosed and try to get into TRT, it can give you your life back. And get earplugs and tell your uncle to stop with the music, it gets worse if you continue to be exposed to loud noises. Given time you get used to it a little bit, and with TRT it disappears for like 98% of the day.

  • @Pedro24849 what is TRT?

  • I am a sufferer of OCD and severe anxiety. The way to deal with Tinnitus is to not be aware of it. Once you think about Tinnitus then the sound will come back, block the sounds out of your head and stop obsessing about it.

    That's my advice.

  • Hello KRDsonic... I woke up three days ago in the middle of the night, sweating profusely with this, almost the same buzzing in my heat... I still get the sweats from time to time, but the buzzing in my head has not gone away.. My doctor has me on Alprazolam for the next 5 days to see if this helps.. thinking maybe it has something to do with stress or anxiety..It's day three now and not much has changed. He told me that he would arrange for a CAT and MRI scan next week.. how are you now?

  • Sounds exactly like mine but higher pitched, sometimes I get it so bad that I zone out and black out.

  • Whoa! This is spot on,but with different people means different pitch, mines lower. That's what I get for living around engines and machines all my life. I don't even remember how it is to be in silence.

  • Yeah, I've had it for about two years now non-stop. I was diagnosed with Meniere's disease, inner ear disorder. I can't sleep without a fan on, because it becomes overwhelmingly loud and keeps me awake. :( I miss silence. :/

  • mine sounds like the room is full of crickets, i mean 100's............ for years I thought that what it was since i live in the desert area......it was when I finaly ask my niece is she hears them........ I do miss the silence also

  • AÏE !

  • That's wierd, I've had this ringing for as long as I can remember, I thought everyone had it... that would explain why having the TV on, music playing, the fan going, or a thunderstorm outside makes me sleep so much easier. I can't stand to be in complete silence because it gets so loud.

  • Hey im 12 years old and I THINK i have tinnitius but mine doesn't sound like this. it happens when im in a quiet room and i hear some shhhh noise (idk how to describe but its nothing like this) and sometimes i feeel like a beat( like a heart beat) but i hear it from my ear can some1 tell me if that is tinnitius or not plz help

  • @Gamerid11

I get the heart beat one as well, it is really annoying. I just try not to be aware of it.

  • @TurboTheTurtwig okay thanks man

  • @MrMindFreak001 Do you felt it too before?Hope you are fine now

  • Tinnitus can be cure......!!!!

  • Mine is different, not worse just different. I have many many tones that are a bit softer. But as I listen to yours it seems to blend in with all of mine.

I truly feel for you I do. I have had mine for over 45 years it gets worse every year.

  • What the hell does "Jesus" have to do with anything?

  • What is the cause of tinnitus? I can hear this but softer and higher pitched... happens when I'm in a silent room..

  • @1216saab God isn't going to save you from tinnitus douche bag, Medical help and professional management are the only things that will come close.

  • This sounds alot like mine. I have a slight higer pitch but this is very close. Can't wait to be with Jesus. Going for therapy next week. I hope it helps some.

  • @DRBY272 I wished for my demise too. I used TRT for my Hyperacusis and tinnitus and got my life back. I am almost complete. Do not give up and keep your faith in the lord. he delivered me and can do the same for you. god bless!

  • @DRBY272 You will be fine!!!God Bless ya!!!!

  • i do miss true silence aswell, mine was brought about by Cholesteatoma

  • mine is softer

  • so..does that mean that you can't hear the sound in this video?

  • @ddd8170 i cant hear it eighter :S

  • woah mine is wayyy higher pitched search up 12khz

  • I got mine 16 yrs ago from a head injury. Mine sounds quite similar but doesn't pulse. After listening to this the sound in my ears changes a sound like escaping air for a few minutes. The new sound is tolerable; too bad it doesn't last very long.

    Thanks for posting posting this.

  • I am a medical student, came across this video while studying about it, needless to say it actually helps me a lot in being more empathic to patients. Thanks for posting.

  • I miss true silence
