So sorry but the law stands, the federal government filed a suit, but I have not heard anymore??? I think the feds and all the people raising hell about this will ultimately loose! A cop can ask your for your id anytime, whether it legal or not , I don't know? If you are in the country and have to work, you will need id and a social security card. Listening to this I have to wonder if Judge Napolitano has actually read the law! Nothing in this law makes being an illegal alien a criminal act in the state of AZ. It bars particular behaviors relating to day-laborers and provides protections for civil law enforcement who identify and turn over illegals to INS. It specifically bars racial profiling and in NO WAY offers jail time or ciminal treatment of illegals.

If that's his argument, then the "unconsitutional" charge is moot.
