I agree with you...! I don't like the standard show clip... I think the show clips are a bit grotesque... "teddy bear cut" (which you describe) is what I do.

ummm toy poodles don't go for 4 grand or more.... Max is probably $1500

It depends what part of the world you live in... In Japan a female red toy poodle can fetch Y400,000... but that's not to say you can't get one for Y100,000 (about $1000.)
