  • Paul McCartney wrote it in 1957.

He sang it in Decca session in 1962 and he is fantastic!!!

He's got a great voice as usual!!!!!

  • Great Lennon-McCartney composition performed by one of the most underrated British groups of the early 60's. Living in a region of the states where the Applejacks got zero radio air-play, I feel so fortunate to have discovered this talented group who obviously enjoyed playing together and enjoyed playing for their audience. It really comes through in their sound. I never grow tired of hearing this one and "Tell Me When".

  • Was this written for them, or did the Beatles record it?

  • i will play this over and over love it all ways have god bless the sixtys

  • I think hey should have released this already in 1963, they would have scored much better with it then.

  • this version is more poppy. i prefer mccartney's voice, more bluesy on the demo version. but both rock!

  • @aerztin13 The Beatles version speaks to the audience better

  • @beatleholic13 What does that even mean?

  • Concuerdo que nadie superara jamas a los beatles:D

pero que es una digna interpretacion Si..

    tambien la tocan chido:D

  • Now way the Beatles version rocks!

  • Muy buena, pero los Beatles son los Beatles.

  • I think this version is better than The Beatles version, remember that the beatles did not finish it. they made it as a demo. I think for this reason this version is better

  • Pues yo prefiero 300000000000000000 veces la versión de Paul,,,aunque a El no le guste demasiado...a mi me encanta,,,es preciosa. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡BEATLES FOREVER!!!!!!!

  • OH OH....ES MEJOR QUE LA VERSION DE LOS BEATLES!!!...JAMAS PENSÉ DECIR ESO!!!

PERO BUENO....McCA LA INVENTÓ Y ESO ES MAS GRANDE QUE NADA....JAJAJA!!!

  • Written by McCartney ...

  • that little instrument melody is like the part in I'm In Love, John used it in another L&M song lol.

  • Wow! Thank you! :-)

  • A Beatles song , well sung..

  • On Decca...the label that turned down the Beatles!

  • yeah fuck them! decca... not the beatles...

  • I don't think we should be so hard on the poor Decca executive. I mean, I am a great fan of the Beatles, but according to George Martin, the first time he heard them, they were "crap". But he could see potential in them.

  • yes. the Beatles were a bit "sloppy" (maybe tired from the Night Before/ not really prepared) at/for the Decca Audition.

  • ya they mite of been a little sloppy, but after they came back from hamburg, everyone started to see how big they could be. but no one should say fuck decca, its there loss, people should feel sorry for them if anything

  • @beatles9013 Sorry for DECCA yes, they made the biggest mistake of turning down the Beatles but they did signed the Stones which they did made profit but the Beatles are more better and achieved more succes than the Rolling Stones.

  • Al, get in touch, your god daughter Sara x

  • Stuart Coates/Jackson sends his regards remember

the Queen's Jubilee, Milton Keynes 2002...?
