Scenes like the one depicted in this movie are a reminder of the levels of cruelty in punishment that existed prior to the English bill of rights of 1689. The current involvement in the Middle East is being used to push the western world back towards severity in punishment. Right now it is punishment by deprivation. They are pushing for increased use of the death penalty however. On what basis? They want to save money on corrections. Greed leads eltitists to feed on the poor.

Dont know about America in this respect, but in europe witchhunt was NOT done by the church!!! It was done by justice itself, following general superstition and fear!! Just to ruin the fun for all the lame dipshits watching this, most witches were actually hanged. You see people back then considered firewood a precious commodity, the same way we wouldn't needlessly leave lots of electronic equipment on to get a nasty bill a month later. Since these people didn't have central heating they needed every bit of firewood to keep warm in the winter. Wasting lots of it to burn a witch was unthinkable when hanging her did the job.

Its a poor movie with very poor tricks. No smoke, no soot in the face of the victims when they are put on the fire, the clothes are not burning... ...it is too clear for a viewer that all is fake.

Although some executions still in use in some countries nowadays they were more humane than in the past.

"D.i.D." means "damsel in distress". I guess it comes from medieval chivalry. All clips are post are about women in danger. In this case, there was no white knight. There usually is one in mainstream movie, but not in horror movies.
