  • I'm white

  • i LOVE THE FRENCH PUPPIES SO CUTE!!

  • Das funny!!!!!!

  • i saw this clip in one of my uni lectures today. Man it was funny (stupid but funny). I think every single student had tears rolling.

  • When you learn a foreign language you obviously need to learn a new way of thinking and feeling and that's what foreign languages are all about. Is it German you want to learn, French, Spanish or Rom, you will always broaden your mind.

Got to choose between French and German and you don't know which one to choose?

Here's a tip: Go with French. It's a great language (not saying german isn't), the language of culture, diplomacy, literature, philosophy (german is too),fashion and business too.

  • why would someone in america need french? it's only spoken in france, 3 or 4 extremely poor african countries, and a small corner of canada. that's it! it's not that useful to an american.

  • @ragazzoshitfuck409 -- there's no other literature in the modern world, from the 17th century onwards, that compares to French -- except English. Not Italian, German, Russian or Spanish. There are today more books published in France than are published in the entire Spanish-speaking world. Plus, lets's face it, it always has had great snob appeal. You should aim to learn French well enough to tell off a Parisian waiter in his own tongue -- try it, it is immensely satisfying.

  • who says french has the greatest literature in the world? that is extremely objective/opinionated. so the other languages don't have great reasons to learn them? for example, you know how many italian music artists sing in other languages and are thus pretty famous in the americas, not to mention all over europe and even asia? even their native language versions are famous in other countries. every language has something extraordinary about it. french isn't the greatest old thing.

  • @ragazzoshitfuck409 maybe someone want to know the other language than just english

  • @ragazzoshitfuck409 You can want to learn a language because you're interested in it! For example I learn Greek because I like its sounds but I'll probably never go to Greece... However it's useful because learning a language makes you become more open-minded and tolerant.

  • Lol Japanese iz the Shiz!

  • I already took a foreign language, english.

  • I was told that Danish is also one of the 'hardest' languages in the whole wide world, right next to Russian and Chinese. Great video, though :P

  • LOL "Except for him ->, he's German." XDD lolol HILARIOUS

  • The Japanese are the toughest. Watch the Kamen Rider Black Henshin.

  • learning languages is tough<—when you procastonate :(—

  • Settle down. It's just that everything I come across shuns the German language........

You don't need to curse. What the heck was that?

  • okay, sorry.

i wasa bit mad that day.

but i mean, they aren't dissing german in any way.

they just chose the three most commonly learned languages [or the ones they thought were the most common]

we al know that, yes, german is, in fact, offered in high schools.

  • OK. I understand.

(Too bad my private school doesn't have it. I am beginning to think that all private schools are Anti-German and pro Francophone. Literally! I looked at every Private School and college in my region and they all have French and no German.

Public isn't an option for me; the public schools in my region are VERY LOW RATED. One is the 741st out of 742! Of course THEY have German!)

  • have you ever considered after school, or online german classes? [if you want to take them, i mean] there are those options as well.

  • @MusicalYoshi Completely true German isn't bad it's a great language it's mainly the ignorant ones that do that.

  • i can speak english and polish and some french and german hahaha im cool xD

  • French isn't that hard. I took a one month beginner course in the YMCA last Feburary and by the time we were all done, we were conversing in French and one of the guys even wrote and sang a song in French (and he played the piano as he did so). Not to say any of us 'mastered' French during that time, I had to leave after that and I didn't really start practicing French conversationally until two months ago. I've made a lot of progress. It's not that hard.

  • No speaking is not hard.

    Grammar now..that's a different story.

  • Even some English Canadian I know have problems speaking it making mistakes like:

    Ma père

    Mon soeur

    ...

  • Hm wow

  • I speak English.

    Yay.

  • hahaha.

  • I speak fluently English and German. And I have been taking Spanish courses for almost two years. Might take French in college...

  • nice! I speak 6 International languages and 20 dialects in my native Philippines....

  • ok let us see who can top you now. ^^

  • no need! it doesnt matter who's the top because thiers a lot of people can do it if you live in the country that speaks 100 plus dialects you can do it too!

  • @xartaz I speak 8 languages, and 21 forms of pig latin. Top that.

  • I speak English and Arabic Fluently and I believe I'm functional in French. I understand what most of the stuff on French Language TV says (it's not easy considering how fast your average TV speaker talks and their words are not always clear), but living in French Canada, I can easily put all of it to the test every time I go out. I also work in a place were most of the clients speak French only or prefer it.
