Notre Dame needs to treat the QB situation like Auburn did last year. Open competition through spring practice and after the spring game is over, name your starter in the summer. Normally, Golson wouldn't be my pick since he's a freshman, but seeing his highlights and his rifle for an arm, along with the fact that he's enrolling early, I predict that Golson will be the starter going into the summer.

But if it does come down to Hendrix and Golson, it will most likely be Hendrix, b/c he RS last year and they'll most likely RS Golson this year or put him in different packages like BK did at Cincy with Pike and Collaros.

Hendrix's eligibility was being saved as he is the next qb in line for what was Crist's job to lose, however, now that it seems he's injury prone, i'd like to see a Hendrix v. Rees v. Golson matchup. Golson will be PERFECT for Kelly's offense- killer arm and wheels. Rees did a great job in his four games though
