id like to do something like that to my 93 silverado once my 350 takes a complete shit.........it leaks oil and smokes like hell. i'm gonna drive it till it blows then do something like that..............i'd like to put a 283 in it.....better mileage and i'm not about hot rodding much and 283's are good motors too.........the 327 in this truck sounds sweet though..................i'm torn........lolz

I love everything that you got going on with the truck... I.E., lowering it, can you tell me what you did with respect to the drive shaft? Rear End? What tranny are you using? I know you said the original 4 speed, I am thinking it was a Muncie? Also, the exhaust. I have been thinking of doing that now for some time, the gas tanks any issue, since they are mounted on the outside of the frame and close enough to exhaust to maybe of some concern, did you install any heat sheilds or move gas tank?

Where did you get your billet grill? LMC truck wants too much for shipping, they charge an additional 20 bucks on top of the regular charge due to it being an "oversize" item.

Sweet truck, bro. I used to have a step side '76. It also had a 327, .060 11:1 TRW dome tops, .010 Eagle crank, .010 Eagle H-beam rods, 283 Power Pack heads, matching cam and lifters to a Camaro Z28, and Edelbrock 750 Performer carb. 417HP at flywheel. My truck is now in Glen Ducote's salvage yard in Montcla, Louisiana.
