To the constructed languages:
There are also constructed languages like esperanto, ido, interlingua etc which are REAL SPOKEN. E.g. there are thousands of media(books, cd's etc) published in Esperanto. Esperanto already got ca. 2mio speakers. And this amount is constantly rising! Ido has ca. 2500 speaker and some literature; interlingua ca. 1500 speaker. Continuing there are also congresses held about/in this three named languages.
As linguist you also have to know these things!

Greek language was tought to native italians back at the 9th century b.C. from the columnist city of Thurios . Untile the rise of the Roman empire , all the alphabet and language was directly copied from greek . 90% of Roman ( ancient latin ) was greek .

If you wish so: my dictionary (Babiniotis "Λεξικό της Ελληνικής γλώσσας" (Dictionary of the greek language) Athens 2006) says for Minos: probably word belonging to the pre-greek substratum for which it is unsure whether it originally was a name or a title (with the meaning "king").

Όλα αυτά που έγραψες είναι παρετυμολογίες τού κερατά. Η "Κρήτη" είναι προελληνικό (μη ελληνικό) τοπονύμιο και αγνώστου ετύμου, τα άλλα που ανέφερες είναι εντελώς ψευδή (κύσον με πχ) κάτι τέτοια μόνο ο Γεωργιάδης που μοιάζει με Αλβανό τα εκδίδει.

You are confusing myths and history. Of course these are greek names (except for "Minos" itself, this is a word from pre-greek substrate, maybe a title of Kings) but they were created by the greeks and carried by them to us and it's normal that they merge with the pre-greek myths. This is absolutely irrelevant for the identity of early Cretans. (Έλληνας δεν είσαι; Είναι ανάγκη να μιλάμε αγγλικά;)
