Excellent review. The comparisons were extremely helpful in getting an idea of what the tools were all about. Quick question: Is the pen in the Manager replaceable once the ink runs out?

Thanks for the great review and comparing the two Victorinox knives. Was torn between the MiniChamp and Manager (and the Midnite version). I agree very much with the choice of going for the Victorinox Classic Manager. It has a good balance for an ideal pocket-size MacGyverism need.

lol for me all i need is a escort, the smallest victorinox so far i use it as a backup to my backup, i use a small tinker for my backup as it is a good knife. the tinker also has 2 blades which i made good use of

Thanks for the review. I have a Leatherman Squirt S4. The reasons I think this knife might be better are: S4 has a lame phillips, and the knife is bad, with an edge only on one side. I think I will get this one.

@salbarajas yes, it's a great little knife. I still can't decide which is a better every day carry, the Squirt or this, so I alternate. On this knife the large standard screwdriver should either be smaller or larger. It's an in-between size, too large for glasses but too small for larger jobs. The pen is surprisingly good!

I searched for a handy knife/tool that I can put into my EDC. So I found the Victorinox SAKs. Then I searched a lot for reviews (text and video) and I must say, that your reviews are pretty good and this one was the reason I ordered myself a Manager.

I just hope I find a store where I can buy new pens.

This actualy made me want to buy the minichamp. i eat a lot of oranges and peeling them with my fingernails kinda hurts later. i dont know about using the ruler though...
