I had bothgames on dreamcast. If you train all Ryo moves in shenmue 1 to high level you see a great change in improvement but it takes a very longtime. save that info on the memory card and carry on shenmue two. do the same with training Ryo's moves to advanced by traninig with that old man in the park after you pass the shaolin temple. You fight moves become swifty as if a blur.

he was there to capture that old guy in the wheelchair (dont remember his name). Why fight there against that whole group, when you can fight on your own terms later. Trurhfully this would have been a better ending point for shenmue 2 instead od where the game did finish off.

This definitely would have been a better place to end the game, and that way the player could have made their own assumptions as to what happens after shenmue 2.

REN is the man! I like his character! Ryo is a great character too. I like how he always reamins calm during a suspensful moment. Lan Di is a whimp for takin' off. I hope Ryo kicks his ass in the 3 installment to this game. I sure hope it drops in stores soon!

the QTEs in this game had me ripping my teeth out. I remember when I first did this I got Dou Niu's health right down and the QTE screen came up and I thought SHIT but then I had a sort of zen moment and I just punched the buttons and I did it and it was like wooooooow and I was like wooooooo.

completed it so many times. I currently own a xbox 360 at the moment and i have 2 say, no game to date has ever come close to what shenmue and shenmue 2 were, was a shame the dreamcast didn't take off. they should have converted the first one aswell for xbox instead of makin that crappy movie. i do hope they release the third, sometime in this decade.
