i disagree... Brawl has all the characters that melee had plus some new ones(excluding a few clones and mewtwo) but i believe that melee had a lot more potential, Brawl has quite a few limitations but more things to do. but yes, both good games, im just a melee person...

Really, both games had potential. Brawl has more choice and enhanced capability while melee is classic fighter with a lot of challanges and tricks to be mastered. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. for a start, brawl has a much wider variety character selection while melee introduced many of those characters. melee introduced the adventure mode while brawl enhanced it brilliantly. melee introduced the events while brawl introduced final smashes. they are both great games overall

I disagree, Wolf actually has a weight advantage over Fox and Falco and has a good balance between speed and power. Not to mention the fact that his Landmaster, while being on the field a shorter amount of time, combines the maneuverability of Falco's and power of Fox's with a little extra "umph" to it.

None taken. I completely agree with you. I think that Smash Bros. should not have clone characters in any game, let alone 2 clones of one character in the same game. The gameplay would be much more immersive if each character had his/her/its own movelist that was completely unique. Hopefully they'll fix this in the next Smash Bros... :)

Because Fox and Falco are too easy to commit suicide with, and are too light. If you asked me, Wolf is better than Fox and Falco combined. His gun is more powerful, it does like 5% damage, and Fox's, while faster, does like 1%. Wolf is heavier set, and just about as agile as Fox, which makes him a more powerful character.

That, and you know people were screaming to be able to have face-offs between Fox and Wolf for a long time.

Wolf isnt a clone, lets review, Up B. His up b is nothing like fox or falcos, its not firey and its slightly stronger. Side B, its similar but very different and cant be used like foxed or falcos, because it goes at a 30ish degree angle, Down B, his reflector is very different. Its not as strong, but is a great defense, plus its red not blue. His stance is diffrent, his gun shoots slower, his A moves are slower and stronger, and he doesnt have very good recovery like fox and falco do.

Actually I think the only things that are the similar to Falco's and Fox's are his special moves, and they're pretty much not the same, that's for sure.

Wolf's whole smash attacks set is very different to Falco's and Fox's, in fact the only similar ones are those two, and still Falco's moves have changed a lot since Melee and I prefer him like he is now.

Since back in the days when playing super smash bros (still playing it sometimes but anyways) I didn't play as fox either except fighting samus since he shoots all the time and when melee came I was Falco and in Brawl I am Wolf (not pure wolf, also Ike and Lucario.) :) So Fox in first game, falco in the second and wolf in the third :P

Wolf, Fox, and Falco are indeed similar...but by no means would I call Wolf and the other two clones.

It takes a very different style of gameplay to use Wolf in comparison to Fox.And the only move of his that you could use in the same way you'd use Fox's version is probably the shield.For instance, their blasters.

A good player would never dream of getting directly in front of the enemy and THEN using fox's blaster, but with wolf, there's no better way!

If you've even tried wolf you'd know he isn't a clone of fox. His move set may feel a little similar but most of his attacks are far quicker and stronger. Also, unlike fox his fighting style actually feels more like how a wolf would fight rather than a human.
