I felt more connection with the first part of this than the second. There is value in the expression, "Spare the rod spoil the child!"

And the funny thing is... Ónce I get to that place that I just leave them be, they always resolve it within minutes!!!

But to be truthfull, I knów that they are doing well no matter what goes on. I knów that they will always get what the want. I knów that they are far better at taking the bounce and taking it far faster and easier then me. If, as a parent, you do not know that, it is much harder because you will keep beating the drum of unwanted. Been there, did that, doesn't work ^ ^

Just today I thought "Abraham, you should come over here and try and raise MY kids!" ;p

So it was so very good to hear that I am still on the right track, getting angry about their behaviour and then thinking over and over in my head "I love and appreciate my children...". Taking the bounce, that is what I do all day long. Taking the bounce from anger to frustration and back a bit and up a bit and then..."Oh never mind, I'm over here trying to find relief. Go bash eachothers heads in!"
