My life has a great connection with that be wonderful. This animal has great features, loving and protective ... Really, I love very much to that being. Great Spirit Bear.
“...you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire [an ancient occult practice], or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination [detestable] to the LORD…”
I have always had a connection to black bears as a child all the way up into my adulthood. Bear is always in my dreams and thoughts. The love is amazing and hunting this animal is senseless. I send love and protection back to brother bear as was always done for me. People fear and kill instead of respecting and loving the bear.
Nice song to listen to. Have it on CD. Yes we need to have wild places as they were for generations before and after us washicas leave as they before. The great bear lives on.
1:13 Oh, my Teddy Bear! Where have you been? I was looking for you since I was 5 years old girl.
But seriously I hope that people will come to their senses and no longer treat the Earth as their absolute property. As you see, we don't have too much time....
Wonderful!!! Brought tears to my eyes because I am very aware of the damage we have done. If I was granted one wish it would be that human beings would be unable to damage the wildlife and animals of this planet. What could be wrong with us that we would be so destructive to what matters the most?
Thank you for this video that brings out the beauty of our bear friends.
Bears are not endangered. Those of us who do hunt them do not hate them. We are putting ourselves up against a near equal, though theirs senses are extremely better than ours. I do view the bear as my brother, not individually but wholely. I understand and respect the bear. When I come out of our battle as the victor, I thank his spirit and show appreciation towards him. I live closer to the earth than most if not all of you, which is why I have a different perspective and way.
What is your intention when you go out to hunt your Brother, warmth and furs to keep you and your family warm for winter, or for the "sport"?
Bears like Wolves have been misrepresented as fierce killers for many centuries, by whom? By the fiercest and most ruthless killers on the planet, mankind.
It is not necessary to take life to prove you are the victor.
I only hunt with a bow or a flintlock muzzleloader. Which require very close range, as I do not have large teeth or claws to provide my food. I do not hunt for "sport" I hunt for food aswell as warmth. I still wear a bear skin coat during the winter that I made.
I do agree they have been misrepresented, but by both sides of the issue. I have seen bears and wolves kill prey. I must say that my way is much less "ruthless".
Mankind can be ruthless aswell, but every person or hunter alike cannot be put into one catagory. Wolves sometimes will start eating their prey alive. We all are a part of nature and we are aslo a predator like the bear and the wolf. We are part of the natural balance. I would rather harvest a free animal than to buy beef, who's live is penned up. I do not say you must support my ways but I do ask you do try to understand them. As I understand your veiw to a certain degree.
Bear meat is very similar to beef but is a bit more lean. It has it's own flavor. I prefer bear meat over any other including elk. I will also note that I have gone many seasons without harvesting a bear or even an elk etc even though I had the opportunity to take one. My philosophy is in harvesting an older or mature animal, as they have served their purpose on this earth. Hunting is essential to the survival of the animal, tradition, and heritage. I respect all life and give thanks for it.
If all the world was able to understand the ways of others and the reasons for why "we" are like "we" are, why we do what we do, and our reasoning behind it..I guess we"d all be a lot better off.
Thank you for taking the time to explain your philosophy and thoughts.
I have tasted (free range) bison/buffalo over here in France...(NOT BUFFALO GRILL!) but from a ranch in Poitiers. I have to say that compared to the plastic wrapped "stuff" in the supermarkets.. there is no contest.
Every time I watch this and listen to the music it sends chills up and down my spine. and helps me to go within and awaken the sleeping potentials that I need Wado Aho
bears are kind loving animals, you have to be in there little circle of friends to be on there good side and thats why most people think of them as brutle beats ment to kill, i'm native and the bear is my brother, if i love it it will love me
Thank you my friend , brother bear and also snake have both been visiting me much in the dream world lately while I've been trying to get back closer to the ways and love of my people so I came here to try and understand better their role as bear is trying to teach me something and snake maybe telling me something important.
Dangerous but beautiful and very strong. We have to protect bears and all wild life. Its important for everythings survival...even ours. Thanks for sharing.
The "Problembear" Bruno was the first free living Bear in germany since... well, I don't know. He was shoot down by the Bavarian government in 2006...he will be never forgotten...
Wildlife if left unchecked would soon overrun once wild areas that are being developed into residential areas. Maybe P.E.T.A. people feel it would be more humane for deer to starve to death or get smacked by one of their cars. I don't think so.
