both good questions! regarding the "singing chick": that's the crazy part - she heard the first 2 refrains and by the time the last one came, she was singing along! some people are just good... :)

re: "playing and singing": the answer to both questions is "yes". erik was listening to the playback on an IPod, so the video could be synced with the recorded version of the song (you can see the ear bud in his left ear), AND he was singing/playing, so the crowd heard it live!
