  • i went today for the circus week, where u there today? its the 7th

  • Yes, I was there from about 2pm to 5pm.

  • what is the road bed on the ground level tracks

  • It is 2x6 boards cut on angles to form curves.

  • Hello from Japan!

Found the Morris Arboretum Garden Railway website and noticed the scale is G! I am just a HO collector,so I guess probably G scale trains do not need to get electricity from rails that's why you can enjoy it outdoor, right? I always think it's tough if it's HO because HO trains need to get electricity from the rails which means we need to cover entire the rails by something to protect them from rain etc. Wish I lived closer to visit there!!

    Cheers! :thumb up: :)

  • Actually, these trains do receive power from the rails. We use stainless steel rail and rail clamp, although you can use battery power, but we don't. Stainless steel rail requires very little maintenance, but when it does we have multiple track cleaning cars for our 15 individual lines.

    Thanks for your comment!
