Similar situation with Gregor Hilden who seems to end up with poor quality backing every time he plays.

Gregor is another unrated guitarist who brings out the best with his 1959 Les Paul.

What club is this and where?

This was shot at a club in Greenhills Ohio at a place called the Bearcat bar and grille but has changed names to the Cincinnati Grille. Greenhills is located about 2 miles south of I-275 on the northern loop. Scotty generally plays around the greater Cincy area. I try and see him everytime he's around.

Heard some Jimmy Bryant recordings the other day and it sounded like he flatpicked doublestops with thumbpick and forefingernail. I always thought Scotty invented that technique anyone know anything about that?

@SevenCircles Jimmy played with a flat pick and two other fingers. Great player even 50 years ago. Players are still trying to play his licks

I just noticed at the end that the bar didn't even have the courtesy to turn off the TVs while he was playing. Did they leave on the jukebox, too?
