Gaaah, third time I accidentliy come in to this "not-so-good"-version of this song by D.P just because you decided it was good to do a makeover of this song in this wonderful ladies name... shame on you.
Superb version of this classic by Dolly - I had not heard of Clay until accidentally looking for the original by Dolly to "favourite". Now I have two versions, both beautiful, class acts in their own way. Clay, smooth as silk and Dolly so unique. Happy New Year from Australia :)
I love Clay Aiken. I searched for him singing this song and found this montage to Dolly with Clay singing. For all of you Clay haters, I love Dolly too. Just haven't thought of her in a while. Anyhoo...Love ya Dolly, you look good girl!!!
Going to find Clay Aiken performing this song in Houston now (I was at the concert).
And many thanks to TeeRishy, for putting Dolly and Clay together for me.
what a shame. a beautiful tune from Dolly, used to make Aiken some cash. Dolly's version is the original and Aiken's is another blight on the music industry by American Idol.
I'm sorry you feel that way and I'm not sure Dolly herself would agree. Many people (particularly young people) who become curious about the original version of this song will discover the music of Dolly Parton for the first time. I think that's a wonderful thing for her and for all her soon to be new fans.
yes. i'm one of those young ppl that didn't know much of dolly... knew of her but not her music. i've really grown to like this song that clay sang tho i didn't at first. nice montage. didn't even kno what dolly looked like in her young days.
That is Clay Aiken singing "Here You Come Again" from his album "A Thousand Different Ways". If you buy the album on iTunes, you will get a beautiful bonus song he wrote called "Lover All Alone" that I think is worth the price of the album. If you want to find out more about Clay, findingclayaiken dot com is a great place to start!
The original in by Dolly parton. But this one is by Clay aiken. by the way if i was you i would listen to dolly's because its so much better by her. minnie xxx
Me and my best friend had the worse fight in my life and then we were at the same party and he started to sing this one on karaeoke and won me back.. love you
shes a very beautiful and distingtive women. She looks so good for her age. I just hope she doesn't turn out like Karen Carpenter like the papers have been saying but i doubt it.
Clay Aiken does a great job singing this classic Dolly hit. I really like it. Though I like the Dolly version the best. We dont have to lose the original to enjoy someone else taking a crack at it. Dolly has remade lots of artist songs over the years. I love Dolly Parton!
When he was 5 years old, Clay performed "Islands in the Stream" at a local high school dance. He respects Dolly and has said this song is his favorite from his new album, 'A Thousand Different Ways'. Clay chose not to imitate the original artists of the cover songs on his album, preferring to bring something unique to each new arrangement. I had not listened to Dolly for years, but Clay brought her back to me.
man she sure was beautiful when she was younger
