@CJCxProductions because Intelligent people usually have an adversity to pulling the wool over the eyes of people they could control to allow them more power. If everyone really thought about the consequences of their actions we would be ok, the problem is that greed gets in the way. Greed for more space, money, power, popularity, and possessions, and so on.
