I disagree with just one thing. Habies Corpus is not suspended it's GONE permenantly under the GOP. There is a good video of Barak Obama trying to add a clause to review ths policy in 5 years. The clause was shot down. The current administration does not want you to EVER have your rights.
The citizens rights are sovereign and have always been so. The alien resident who has not recieved citizenship has always had rights with a statute of limitations. So when you say "the current administration doesn't want you to EVER have rights," you aren't talking to Americans. You're talking to a phantom idealogue that doesn't exist.
Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! The constitution is VOID until upheld by the Supreem court - and with Habes Corpus gone you have no recourse. Look at the writing of the bill. Listin to the news commentary, Olbermann has done a great job here. Citizenship gets you NOTHING. If Bush, or any future executive branch declares you an enemy combatent, at his will, he can have you killed. You have no rights.

However, we do have the worst offender of Human Rights according to the HRW (who holds a session in front of the UN annualy) recieving justice. What's gotten worse? However, Dems have proven to not be any sort of solution to the problems you have raised. Do you actually think that the Afg. war is wrong? The UN even supports us in that. We never had a surplus on the national debt. Habius Corpus is designed for citizens, not residents.
No one has been apprehended or held accountable? Moussai? Al Zarqawi? Numerous people who are incarcirated aren't willing to admit to criminal activities because you aren't willing to allow physical methods to obtain information from people who aren't residents. Do you know that George Bush has appointed more women and minorities to his cabinet and advisors?

I was responding to Jimmy's question of "what has gotten better?" I would think you would agree that women and minorities in positions of power, a direct show of diversification in representation is better. If you can't make that connection then you're hopeless.

I'm from the UK and everyone here used to love America and what it stood for - now we just think that your government has been overrun by fascists. Please vote Democrat.
Interesting video with good points made. You pretty much covered every critical issue. I could only think of one issue that you left out:
The Supreme Court's involvement in the "selection" of Bush in 2000, and in addition, the Supreme Court gave permission to the wealthy to steal private property via Eminent Domain.
