  • @360ZombieSlap Yeah that's a cheap knife that my uncle gave me when I was a kid.

  • nice mate, just cant beat a good bowie and you got a few nice ones there,

  • @keanoman1000 I love a good bowie also!!

  • I like your channel because its unique. FPSrussia and Hickock45 review firearms and then theres the gamers on Youtube like Machinima and IGN. Yours stands out because its a form of weaponry that no one's launched a massive upload of, knives, blades and all sorts of mana of sharpness. Nice video and NICER collection.

  • @ForestSpyer257 I appreciate your comment, thanks!

  • I've seen alot of knife collection videos on youtube but I have to say this video actually gave me chills. Not only was the collection impressive, but the knives you spoke of that have seen combat and the fixed blade that was pulled out of your friends leg gave me goosebumps. This is a true memorable collection.

  • @Vinny369 I appreciate your kind comment

  • thats my dream table =,(

  • @SuperFendt1995 It is a nice table. As far as the knives goes, Just take your time, enjoy your knives, and add to your collection when you can. It took way over 30yrs to collect these..

  • hi GunznGear im thinking of making a video of my knife collection too and any advice would be great! thanks

  • would you please do a review on the crkt point guard

  • @MrYoungSurvival I certainly need to do more knife vids. Thanks

  • would the blood groove on the cut down bayonet work effectively?

  • @billymayer1000 I'm not sure any blood grooves are effective at all. They were originally called fullers. Some companies added them to cut down on the amount of steel used to make a knife, and sometimes they were used to stiffen a blade. If you think about it, if you stab someone, you do not usually leave the blade there, so a blood groove would not have a chance to work. Even if you did, tissue and skin are pliable so they would still be an obsticle for a blood groove to work. Just my thoughts

  • @GunznGear It was my understanding that blood grooves make it easier to overcome the suction force when trying to pull a blade out of someone. I was thinking blood grooves work by the grooved section of the blade being having smaller area than the stab hole, causing less suction when pulling the blade out, but it appears that the cut down ones have the groove all the way to the tip end of the blade, and wouldn't work?

  • @billymayer1000 That may very well be true. I relayed what I've been told before, and I'm certain the some knives may have different reasons for fullers/blood grooves. Actually it would seem that a blood groove would create suction, but I'm guessing. While I do know some of the dialogue surrounding blood groves and fullers, I certainly do not have knowledge on blood grooves as it relates to suction. Sorry

  • @GunznGear Alright, I will have to do some research! Impressive collection by the way, I'm going to have to check out some more of your video ; )

  • @billymayer1000 I appreciate you stopping by, and Merry Christmas!!

  • @GunznGear No problem, Merry Christmas to you too, friend!

That Ek is marked WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, I had an older one that was marked WWII and Korea, but I gave it to a buddy that's deployed right now. He's a member of the very SEAL team which has been given credit to killing Bin Laden. BTW SEAL Team 6 doesn't exist, and neither does their HQ here at Oceana Naval Air Station!

    -Cash

  • @KrazyCash Thanks! You ought to go ahead and make one!!!

  • @Sorensonism Thanks, I like Kershaw! I have a few of their folding knives, and I think they are excellent quality.

Sometimes I don't think some folks understand the personal value an inanimate object can have. I'm sure you cherish your Grandfather's Boker, and when you bring it out it probably reminds you of him. If you ever have children, passing down that knife will feel awesome!!!!

  • yes, please make a/some vid(s) about your folding blades

  • @Natedaschoolboy I will, thanks!

  • You must have a very understanding wife.

  • @txmalcontent Hmm I'm not so sure now. When she walked into the kitchen and saw the table, there was a pause... and she said "just how many knives do you have??? Then she wanted to take a picture.... I think she wants it for evidence!!! LOL

  • @GunznGear Dude... you're effed in the A. Now she has photographic evidence of your insanity. It's bad enough she has your YT channel to go to :P Now her sister, mom, and all the girls at work will look at you funny (if they don't already that is). Thanks for sharing bud!

  • @txmalcontent I've never hid anything from her, she just never seen so many of them at one time.

It's too late for her family, they already know. LOL I've never cared how anybody looks or what they think of me.

    Take care Bro

  • You have an awesome collection of knives. Sounds like some cool stories to tell about them as well. I would like to see/ know more about some of the older knives you have in your collection. Thanks for sharing.

  • @ironheadgram Thanks, a lot of great memories associated w/ some of those knives. I'll do some knife vids, and see how it goes.

  • I'd really like to see some knife vids from you, my friend.

  • @MrJimbofox I appreciate that Bro, thanks!!

  • Awesome collection, bro. That's a ton of fixed blades! So jealous you have a griptillian fixed blade!!! Been lookin for one of those forever!

  • @MrJimbofox Thanks Jimbo!! I really like the fixed Griptillian! It's a great knife, I'm not sure why there not more vids on them.
