@Jamjor The DSi. The DSi XL is actually just a stupid purchase. It's too big to fit in your pocket, the resolution is the same as the DSi so not as good "graphics" and really, a bad purchase. The DSi fits in your pocket, and from the store so you can trust it more. Get the DSi.

I tried the 3DS out in a gaming convention 4 days ago. it wasnt that mindblowing. the 3d effect was indeed interesting but you got to hold it at a special angle for it to work. i kinda dont like it. the games do look beter ofcorse but ill wait for 3DS XL with longer battery life and bigger screens. @Kindadinosaur you gotta remmember that 3ds games won't be playable on a DS-DSi-DSi XL , so if you decide to buy the XL now , you might regret it in a couple of months/years when they stop producing DS/DSi games , so eventually you will be forced to upgrade again ... so either a 250 now or 160 now + 250 in a year , the choice is up to you

plus there is a lot of old N64 games that are remade for the 3DS ( Starfox , Zelda )

what i hate about the dsi and dsl and dsi xl are:

The dsl can play mp3 and then dsi series can only play some aac format music. Pisses me off because im quite a fan of music.

The Ds Lite is perfect but i dont really like the physical shape ish..

The dsi xl is great, resoloution is still the same which kinda fails. And its really thick

The Dsi is perfect for me, slim, portable, even though it cant play mp3...

if your after something slim i'd go with a dsi
