Yes, Jesus (Yeshua) is a Jew. Anyone (Jew or gentile) can enter the kingdom of heaven (by trusting in Jesus' atonement and repenting of sin). I have a question for you, If Jesus was from the line of David via Joseph as you said; your New Testament says that Mary did not had sexual encounter with Joseph therefore Jesus was born from a miracle, or what you called from the holy spirit. In other words Jesus did not carry the sperm of Joseph, therefore he was not from the line of David since Joseph was the carrier of the sperm that had the bloodline from David. Correct?

I just asked that same question but thank you for clarifying it to others. The other thing that bothers me is that most of the gospels were written at least 70 - 400 years AFTER the birth, life, death and alleged resurrection. If most of the gospels were nearly all based on Saul/Paul's VISION of Jesus-then why do they have a virgen birth? Paul NEVER mentions a virgen birth anywhere. He never mentions the passion or anything. DID THEY INVENT THE PASSION JUST TO HATE THE JEWS MORE?

The thing about Xtianity is that it is a different religion from Torah. There are no Xtian basic documents in Hebrew.
AND the best Xtianity can do is come up with Apostolic fathers like Ignatius of Antioch(c.35-110 CE) (Greek) AND/or Clement of Rome (c96 CE)
NEITHER was Hebrew.
Xtianity is so far removed from Torah that they could not even invent their religion (not even a fragment) in Hebrew.

This is a great start to show Christians the roots of our faith. And to show Jews that Jesus is the Christ! He is the Messiah (which means Christ, which means "anointed one").

1Hope4All=It is the Messianic faith that is the fulfillment of the Jewish faith. Messianic Judaism is not Christianity in disguise, it is a legitimate branch of Judaism, a fulfillment of Biblical Judaism and the Torah and it's actually 2000 years old dating back to the the time of the promised Messiah of Israel Yeshua of Nazareth. Only Roman Catholicism is Christianity, including Protestantism and Eastern Orthodoxy.

1Hope4All=There are 3 branches of Christianity: Roman Catholicism, Protestantism and Eastern Orthodoxy. Christianity is actually a second wing in faith in the Messiah Yeshua (JESUS) expressed by Gentile followers. Faith and belief in the Messiah Yeshua is originally a sect of Judaism.

knightsofstjoan, you bet wrong! I've heard about "Jews for Jesus." They are a group of Protestant Christians who were formerly Jewish. Some of those "Jews for Jesus" are now Catholic because they recognize many of our beliefs & practices and prayers in the Mass.
Rosalind Moss is one of those former Jews. She was Jewish turned agnostic turned Protestant, turned Catholic. She is now Mother Mariam for her new community of nuns called "Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel's Hope."

The Catholic faith isn't the fulfillment of Judism. Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Law. It's a belif in Christ, whether you're Catholic, Messianic, Penacostal, Evangelical, or Luthern. As long as you believe that Jesus died on the cross, rose, and is setted at the right hand of the Father, then you're going to Heaven.
