i Chilled with him in Boise Idaho for a celebrity basketball game he played in for charity and i was the ball boy. hes the tightest guy ever!! to bad he aint in the leauge no more he was ballin
He is not retired yet! He is on Injured/retired list. He can still come back 'cuz he hasn't filed the papers yet(just like Jake Plummer and, until about a month ago, Warren Sapp) Keep the faith!!!
dude he phyically can't come back unfortunatly....he would probably kill himself if he did come back...all greats do have 2 retire at some point. But at least this way he will be in the HOF in 5 years, or in 5 years when he officially calls it quits
lol...he was great but man do u know how banged up he was? It was in his best interest to retire...no doubt he was great, and still would be if it wasn't for so many surgies, and the natural ageing process
Ya i would love it if he became our WR coach, Brandon Marshall himself said in an interview with Broncos tv a couple of weeks ago, that he wants to be just like Rod Smith...that would be awsome, and who better to teach him how to be Rod Smith, than Rod Smith himself? lol
Wow, Rod Smith, I vaguely remember him from when I was 8, 9, and 10 yrs. old. And now another one of the "Little Big Men" from Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII is in danger of retiring? Well hopefully, he stays, cause it really hits hard when you lose something that means so much to you. But no matter what he does, I still support him thick and through.
One of the greatest to play the position. With all the divas that play wideout, he was one of the few who always had class and always put the team first. Hopefully he'll stay involved with the organization.
great video man...Today could be the last time we see him on the sidelines as a player...What a pleasure to watch #80 for a long time...Dang first Al Wilson leaves and now Rod Smith....well gotta love DJ and BMarshall
