The tree idea is very inventive! I think that "party at night in the shop" idea could really take off, too! If you move the stock into the back to clear space for dancing and then have a few items out (like on consignment), you could probably get around any zoning restrictions that would forbid partying in an unlicensed, non-residential property (as long as you don't charge for drinks!).

Plus, the 80s pants rocked! They look like the "Genius of Love" video - in pants form!
