It is an awesome light light that I own and very happy with. Battery is waterproofed for sure.Great beam pattern,cars hit their high beams .I also own the 500 lumen taillight He sells and my club riders wont allow me to use them.

Just to clarify on the batteries. Two options are available:

1 smaller 2800mAh Pack (2hr run time on high)

and the 5200mAh pack shown (3hr 45 run time on high)

They are definitely a notch or two above "generic." Custom designed internal PCB with self-balancing taps. Only high quality cells, Samsung or Panasonic.
