New Gamers who played only Twilight Princess thinks that MidnaxLink goes better because obviously there were little chemistry between Link and Zelda in TP. However, old zelda players who played the epic Ocarina of Time, knows where true ZeLink lies. Especially if you read the manga!

I personally don't think Legend of Zelda would ever be a romance story and so Links romantic life is determined by the players the way they see fit.

@CodenameD2052 Actually, in all my years playing Zelda, from the first game to Spirit Tracks, I never got any romantic impression between Link and Zelda; I always saw them as best friends and trusted allies, kind of like Batman and Commissioner Gordon. The closest thing I ever saw to a romance in Zelda was Link/Marin. But we all know how that turns out. :(

Unless their romance takes place after Ganondorf is killed, it's undefined. That's why people take to saying Link Belongs with Midna because they were working side by side for "a long time."

I really wish there was a game that did have a romance between Link and Zelda, but so far only the first two have had signs of that. In some Zelda fan translated mangas I've read, there were signs of romance between in the on based on OoT, but that's it. There have been hints of romances in some of the others also. The closest we see to Link be romantically involved with someone in the mangas is LA. In that, he and Marin have clear feelings for eachother, but things keep them from being together
