X360 is better because it has better development tools, it can fit a game on a 5GB DVD which PS3 can't fit on a 13GB. This is because Microsoft has improved compression capabilities of its games by a long shot, which is why they figured 8.5GB is enough for games, and right they were. Out of the 4.7GB limit the original Xbox had, the most disc space a game used was probably about 3.5Gigs so shut the fuck up dumbass. Use the PS3 as your Blu-Ray player as it is the best player out there at the moment becouse it is the only one that will be able to run the 2.0 Blu-Ray softwere when it comes out. The PS3 updates from the internet, so you only need that one player, so would not get a stand alone one or one in your new PC, unless you want a Blu-Ray Recorder. Hope that helps ^.^

X360 is better because it has better development tools, it can fit a game on a 5GB DVD which PS3 can't fit on a 13GB. This is because Microsoft has improved compression capabilities of its games by a long shot, which is why they figured 8.5GB is enough for games, and right they were. Out of the 4.7GB limit the original Xbox had, the most disc space a game used was probably about 3.5Gigs so shut the fuck up dumbass. yes it can, get a PS3, you then have Blu-Ray player that plays games and has internet softwere updates, as well as being able to Upscale your DVD's to 1080P if your tv can do 1080P that is, and will play all your Cd's too.

Use the PS3 as your Blu-Ray player as it is the best player out there at the moment becouse it is the only one that will be able to run the 2.0 Blu-Ray softwere when it comes out. The PS3 updates from the internet, so you only need that one player, so would not get a stand alone one or one in your new PC, unless you want a Blu-Ray Recorder. Hope that helps ^.^

if you can manage to find and older 80 gb ps3 from the mgs4 or motorstorm bundle then you have a multimedia masterpiece it will have a cf port sd card slot memory stick duo and 4 usb ports for whatever you want and the backwards blueray player will play any disc format that can fit in its slot. trust me i can play any cd i have without having to worry if its a new enough player to be able to play my newer dvd formats

IF Microsoft released a blu-ray add-on, the Blu-Ray consortium (read: not Sony) would charge the exact same royalties that Samsung or LG would be paying. It's not in the companies best interest to single out one company. It's a win-win situation for them. They get more blu-ray drives out there and the 360 becomes a blu-ray movie player. Developers resort to installing data thats already on the disk to the hardrive to make it load quicker, either that or they duplicate data and place it on empty places on the disk, so the drive laser doesnt have to travel as much. both methods make all that disk space redundant.
