  • you suck i can do dat wit mii dick

  • Thought he was Bruce Willis for a second D:

  • i am 6 feet tall and 190 lbs of muscle and i cant do it its making me mad

  • I am able to do one-arm push ups, but I keep getting cramp in my leg when I do

  • i'm sorry but these are just impossible

  • 0:34 look at how his shoulder goes back like that... this will probably mess up your shoulders pretty badly

  • supa eazy

  • i bigger then him

  • He's not going low enough. I tried it for the first time today and had no trouble doing them the way he was doing, but it was much more difficult to go down to the point where my body was almost touching the ground.

  • real perfect one arm push ups are done with the feet together.-

  • Ok so Im 215lbs and I can do 50-60 consecutive well formed push ups (not that great I know) but I can bench roughly 295lbs but i cant do 1 armed push ups. clearly I can bench my weight but i cant do a 1 arm so for me its easier to bench my weight because I push 225lbs for 12 consecutive reps. (I know thats not very strong in the weight lifting world)

  • is i easier to do a push on a bench or jus regular push ups? O_o

  • I wish I could do these but my balance is so bad everytime I attempt one I fall over.. =(

  • Its hard to bench your own body weight u loser, if your lean then u dont have muscle on u & that just means youre gonna have to work out a bit more & that goes too for skinny/scrawny people!

  • Its alot easier when u do these with your legs spread open, ive tried doing these, im 145 & i bench 175, i can do this with my feet together, proof? Anyone?

  • im 140 can do 5-10 and but only bench about 200

  • You would only spread your feet apart if you have a weak core. You might have strong arms but you lack control of the rest of your body (core). Newb.

  • Yo bro you are all pussies, i can bench bress 1200lbs at 400 lbs pure muscles weight. And i can do 2000 pushups in 2 minutes with only my pinky nail.

  • @emieldegraaf Proof?

  • @emieldegraaf Care to show us?

  • @wolfanime25 No im to strong, your eyes will be hurt from my power. I can bench press 1700lbs now. Im 900lbs musles strong now. You are all pussies. I can now also do 4000 pushups with out even using anything. So what

  • @emieldegraaf xD That made me laugh.

  • @emieldegraaf 400lbs ? lol you won't be able to stand up from your own bed then

  • IM 10 AND I DID IT!

  • Not funny ! you make it look so easy!

  • i can do 1 handed pushups. and when i show my friends theyre like "DURR put your feet together DURRHURR" is it even possible to do one with your feet together?

  • i bet you he can't do it without his legs open

  • @ImmaR4peYoAszz i would bet atleast 100 dollars agains what you just said...

  • @ImmaR4peYoAszz That just helps for balance.

  • @Rav3rac3r iv been doing brazilian jiu jitsu for a couple years. maybe thats y lol

  • That's not a valid one arm push-up, too short range of motion :)

  • Im 15. I can do one arm push ups go to my channel and see for your self. If I can do anyone can do it.

  • @Twister7Studios im 13 and i can 2

  • I cant balance

  • I like to put my hand up a little higher and about one hand length across the center of my chest to work more towards my inner collar bone.

If you're going to incorporate these into a workout I'd recommend you do them before any other exercise otherwise you might not be able to do very many.

  • Great instructional video.......Thanks

  • back in my glory days i used to do a few hundred of these each day. Now I just do 50 - 60 each morning :P

  • I have been doing over 1,000 pushups aday for a while now and can still only do 35-40 one arm push-ups in a set.

  • to some extent, it is more of balance vs sheer strength

  • I CAN DO IT!! YESSS!

  • i dont wanna brake my arm for now!

  • I can do a couple with each arm...

Only just started them now though

  • I am gonna try it out.

  • he looks like bruce willis with hair

  • woot i did one

  • i cant do it with my left arm i can only do it with my right lol

  • i'm 12 i've been practising that but i can only do 10 :(

  • WTF, Bruce Willis works as a fitness trainer?

  • I can only do one!

  • Chicken legs!

  • i am 93 and i can do OVAR NINE THOUSAAAAAAAND!!

  • @steeon u r monster !ha

  • I can do push ups with my awesome-ness :3, who needs hands

  • i am 2 I can do 12 I can also use the computer

  • I can do 2 so far :D

  • i can push ups without arms !

  • whats with ppl always doing half reps?

  • iam 13 and i do 7 but still i cant do planche :/ 1 more year practice :P

  • i dont understaaannnndd....my bench max is 255 yet i cant do one of these =[[[[

  • @banga691 as my experience of training with weights and training with bodyweight, it isnt the same. Benchpressing wont help you doing pushups.

  • I'm 15 y.old. I could only do one back then (14 y.old), but now with training (diamond pushups, boxing) I can reach 10 one handed. Nothing is impossible with determination.

  • I find it hard to bend the arm while trying to do this, does anyone have any advice about this? Thank you.

  • bahaha i can't do 4 push but when im drunk i can do like 19... and when im drunk i do 5 when im drunk and 0 when im sober.. that so wierd

  • i can do half of one :D

  • Yup I started these and this is a great workout. And measure of true power.

  • I've seen some do it with legs close

  • i can bench press 300lbs at 190 lbs weight but i cant do 1 hand push ups

  • @Newbpwng lifting weights is different when compared to lifting your own body

  • @iiFeArReD i actually wasnt able to do any pushups because my technique was wrong but since i have learned and i can do 10 for my left arm

  • @Newbpwng ohh the technique was wrong....btw i still cant do one handed push ups somwhow i keep loosing my balance but i can atleast bench more than my weight

  • @iiFeArReD yeah i learned that i have to shift my bodyweight onto the side of the arm im using by shifting my body core to the side and also keep the elbow tucked in like this guy is showing instead of holding my arm like if i was doing regular pushups

  • @Newbpwng hmm so kind of like if i was doing regular triangle push ups and then shift weight to the arm im using...hmm i will try that..hey thanks man

  • This is not a professional, very weak

  • @Newbpwng Funny you say that, I can't bench as much as you but I have done 132 none stop. Dont even look half as cut as that dude.

  • @mrqban matter of training types im a bodybuilder not a competitive also do strength training now but its for aesthetics and strenght not for endurance, but i have since learned to do 10 pushups in left arm in a row for me it was a bad form

  • @Newbpwng Brother I was just leaving a comment. I have been doing one arm push ups since I was 7. I am 30 now, that's how I can do so many. I think all it takes is practice, balance and endurance. Just saying. I am only 57 180 pounds.

  • @Newbpwng that is the problem with doing weights. You will be much stronger within your own body if you work with it rather than hunks of metal.

  • @Newbpwng That is why there's different strengths and weaknesses for people.

  • @Newbpwng It's about tendon strenght

  • @Newbpwng im 140 and can do 5 but only bench 200

  • @Newbpwng so 1 hand pushups are harder than benching body size? wow

  • @R3dTigerM40A3 no beside its only a matter of technique and practice and i can since do 15 1 handed pushups per arm easily

  • @Newbpwng i weight 140, i can do up to 80 pushups, do like 8 one-arm push ups. but i don't know my max bench. do you think im strong enough to bench my body weight?

  • @R3dTigerM40A3 yeah i think almost anybody can bench their body weight if they are lean or at least not overweight

  • @Newbpwng it honestly just depends on the person.

  • @R3dTigerM40A3 Get in a one-arm pushup position, with your plant hand on a bathroom scale. That number is (roughly) the equivalent of what you're benching (with one hand). (Take off 10# or so 'cause the arm weight doesn't move all the way up with you.)

It'll probably be 60% or so of body weight, so a one-armed is equivalent to benching 1.2XBW...with balance issues thrown in.

(I can 6-rep BW benches, but can only manage 2-rep one-armeds.)

  • @bcubed72 okay thank you! if i weight 140 pounds it meant i bench 168 lbs when doing one hand push ups. 140 x 1.2

  • @R3dTigerM40A3 I would think so. Doing a normal push -up your only actually pushing half your weight and that means your pushing 70lbs 80 times. Now considering momentum is alot easier with a pushup the actual lift is a little different then bench. Give it a shot.

  • ''and soon enough you're getetrjwrttherw''

  • I can almost bench twice my own body weight and can only do half of one lol

  • I can do about half of one, I think it depends on your weight. You could be in the best shape, but a 150 pound teen will do this easier than a 230 lb body builder

  • @nfarnham2008 Nah. It's training. A 150 pound person will have the same difficulties as a 230 pound person the first time they do this. Being able to lift your own bodyweight is a true test of strength...

  • @Dodo5981 i totally agree hahaha

  • I feel sorry for this guy....I was watching Bruce Lee's 2-finger push ups and this was on my suggestion bar.....needless to say, after watching Bruce Lee, I wasnt impressed with this guy.

  • @Ryoka1 he isn't trying to impress anyone. he is trying to help beginners.

  • @Ryoka1 That's not a good comparison. Bruce Lee was exceptional. That's not the norm. No one can be compared to Bruce Lee. You're trying to fly before you learn how to walk...

  • The only way to do it.

  • sweet Tyrannosauras Rex egg in the background at the beginning!

  • i just did like 30, and i have never done these before

  • Railed some addy the other day and did six. Chest to the floor too!

  • i can do one and a half lol

  • @231johnjohnson Oh good. I thought I was the only one

  • @blkhauck lol you're definitely not.

  • GTG BABY! actually your technique is really good, but i would say bring your feet in closer, they are suppose to be about 6 inches wider (3 inches per side) than your shoulder.

AND dont twist your shoulders, your back and shoulders should stay level, imagine a long 10 foot board accross your shoulders, it shouldnt be lower on either side.

  • on another note, if you are having trouble doing these but really want to, then start out by doing them against a wall, the farther your feet are form the wall the harder they are, and slowly work your way down. use tables, or chairs to get closer and closer to the ground.

inversely you can lify your legs up higher and higher to make them harder.

once you can do more than 5 in a row, its time to go lower.

  • do them GTG style (grease the groove)

GTG is basically doing them whenever you can, but not too much.

a good example. we have a baby, so everytime the wife makes a bottle she does 5 pushups (normal ones)

this is an example of GTG.

  • O, you spread your feet, i thought u stick ur feet together and then do it, no wonder i havent been able to do one.

  • I can go down, but I can't lift myself up with one hand :P

  • wow i failed

  • i could do like 20 of these and i can even do them with my feet together or on one leg.

  • i can do 2 them my arm is like dead lol

  • @killer1014021 1 I'm not black,2 that word is racist

  • @killer1014021 Ok,Naruto is a cartoon,it isn't real

  • I can do 5 with my non-dominant arm and trust me I'm not that strong. Stay determined for a long while, and be CONSISTENT. And then test yourself and you will be surprised of what you can do seriously.

  • this is easy, i do it every day each arm as a morning work out, it's hard at first but you get used to the feel of it after a while :)

  • you man,you cant do regular full (you do half way)one arm push up,plece set down and watch your video one more time YOUR FORM IS NOT GOOD

  • ROCKY

  • to those below that havent read the instructions, :

you must have feet apart or you are trying to balance on two points, everyone should know a tripod will balance but a bipod does not,

you dont go all the way down again its a physics and biology thing think about it,

if you watch Rocky 1, Stylone does it perfect, maybe its on youtube somewhere.

you need to have the strenght to be able to do about 30 two handers or 15 clapping press/push ups to be able to attempt one handers,

  • i wonder why we cant do full range motion until chest touch the floor even myself too.

  • @johnyongck because since you're only using one side, you're then relying on muscles not strong enough to support all your weight(if you go all the way down).

  • Thanks man I'll try the ball. I've also heard it's worth trying lifing one leg off the ground and back over your body to put the weight on one arm

  • this guys arms are really short

  • @ofheufie i heard they call him t Rex

  • @ridicule401 i heard they have butt-sex at night

  • When I do it I can hear my muscles creak. But after I'm done, it feels pretty good.

  • @MrOther912 Because feet together is probably almost as hard as a one arm chin. I searched all over youtube and can't find a video

  • Can your chest touch the ground or are you only supposed to go like, halfway?

  • how come no one goes all the way down or has their feet together like a regular pushup?

  • @MrOther912 Before you get to the halfway mark, you start to feel an intense amount of weight. It takes a tremendous amount of core strength to do it with the feet together. That level of strength takes a long while to build. Even Bruce Lee did it with his legs apart...

  • @kiahrogers I just tried it with feet close together, I got half way and HOLY SHIT. The amount of pressure is unreal.

  • @ImpulsiveRush Lol!!! I know right!!! I tried it a couple of times myself. You have to be a beast to do it like that...

  • @kiahrogers I attempted it again earlier, nearly got it all the way back up, but my hand died and I lost my balance :L

  • @ImpulsiveRush haha!! That is so cool. You might actually get it...

  • im 12 and i could do 15

it took me 2 to 3 weeks to get it right

    i only weigh 110

  • @bigboss19987 wow im 14 and I'm 100 pounds

  • Comment removed

  • do it more down it's half one arm push up :p

  • i did 5 on the first try

  • Are we up for wagering?

  • You don't have to show it to us one more time we can just hit rewind

  • im 15 and can do 10, anyone can do this with a lot of practice.

  • @zZNallyBroZz hahah enjoy it buddy. soon you'll be weighing 85kg and doing a pushup will be twice as hard :P

  • @zZNallyBroZz

    Bull crap!

  • @zZNallyBroZz i smell shite

  • @zZNallyBroZz please stop bragging about your age.
