Dude you bought one of those cables from that guy on Harmony Central that made the "japanese" parts and neutrik jacks or whatever. Mine crapped out and he wouldn't replace it because he quit making them! I paid nice money for it too!
@DeadKennedysNirvana8 I think part of the appeal of a pedal like this is the level of control it gives you over the feedback. You and me both know that an amp driven past it's limits can be.... Unpredictable. Haha.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
feedback is bad you shouldnt do that too much or your amp will blow out the reason y the guitarist in the band could do that is because they can afford another amp
Nice feedback and YES kurt used this pedal and YES he sometimes used it for feedback but all you need to do to get feedback is turn the gain, drive it volume right up and hey presto, your ears are bleeding
for the wildest feedback, i usually put togehter a rat pedal and a big muff with its tone nearly at 3 (clock like), high on volume and distortion/sustain.
now u see i cant get this sort of amazing feedback on mine i mean i use a grunge dist pedal which is great but i mean i can get the right sound as this from the pedal its so annoying !@!@#$@!$@!$@!!!!!! ARGG!!
Actually, you can hear it on the song "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter", Kurt has the Poly Chorus on though out the song except in the chorus' and in the bridge.
but try doing it without as pedal, using magnets and tubes only.. and tone controls.. very carefully.
check Aight-hashbury on my page if you want, there;s nothing like it, I couldn;t do it again myself the next day if I tried.
Also, this is noise, try using feedback to actually make music.. I'm not trying to be a dick, I really mean it, manipulate it melodically, _play_ something with it
And I agree with everyone else - it's an awesome pedal, I couldn't function without it now. But it does take a lot of experimenting with it to get functional sounds, it can get very bottom heavy when used live.
Also, the filter matrix setting is superb for adding a really scuzzy edge to distortion. It's almost worth getting it alone for that.
EH usually just throws on whatever knobs they have sitting around at the time. I love EH effects because you can get all these wacky effects with them!
it's easy to move all the knobs of a poly chorus but if you only gave him the guitar with simple distorted effect i like to see him thats more complicated
Kudos, man. This is the only thing on YouTube besides my guitar feedback which I did not shred with extreme condescension hehe.. Nice stuff. Warrrrrm is what feedback should be, not harsh. juicy psychedelic warm and fuzzy. When you get a sec, check out my "Aight-hashbury".. kind of the opposite of what you do.
equiptment all i have set up in this video is just that polychorus and a marshall mg50 dfx.. i have the gain turned right up on my distortion on my amp.. as for the poly.. well the feedback is nearly all the way up an well just messing around with the nobs and such.... get back to me if this was any help and cheers for leaving a comment... i see your into nirvana.. fuck im like a masssssive fan as well.. the guy was and still is a legend...

Try having a magnet in your hand. You should get a Hendrix sound better. =)
Krysonomous 2 years ago
By the way, I don't think there is a practical application to have a guitar directly near the speaker. No one plays that close. =)

Happened to me once before with a delay and chorus. Even worse because it turned to a high pitch squeel. =)
