I ran a 1300CC engine on mine, for the first time, just a few days ago. After 4 hours of running at 3000 RPM, my 'FEMA tar factory' killed the engine :( .
It's time to move towards the good old Imbert system here :) .
Yes, battery charging is the main purpose of my woodgas generator project. It will produce a couple of kilowatts of power to charge a 12V battery bank here on my little farm.
It sure will be nice to never need petrol again :) .
