  • I bought this same cymbal about a year ago and it is fantastic.

  • awesome awesome... i'm speechless :)

  • Awesome cymbal. Period.

  • Do you guys think this thing can get loud enough to play metal? Not sure the ping is defined enough to really get through 2 guitars. Love the wash though.

  • @surtursfire

These cymbals can absolutely NOT handle metal. They dent and crumple like empty coke cans.I unfortunately own them and while their sound is amazing, they are simple not built to last. I play country with light glancing strikes, by the way.

  • Paiste...MAKE THIS IN 22!!!

  • wtf...

to answer your question, YES it is good for multiple styles, it is the best you could play for any one style, no... but is it the best for a varriety of styles, yes! its supposed to be perfect for Brit Punk/Indie Rock tho... but essentially that is what styles u've listed.

    Giant Beats are awesome!

Paiste consistency is the best and equal to none!

  • sonds way better used

  • Sam thing with my used a custom crash compared to a new one... weird...

  • The gunk that builds up on it actually warms up the cymbal. If you polish it, it will probably get all bright and obnoxious again haha

  • is this cymbal good for lots of styles? I'm a rock, funk, punk, indie, jazz, country, blues drummer

    will this cymbal fit those?

  • @fs04pro What kind of a question is that? You see and hear the cymbal right here. It's you who decides what it's "good for".

  • i ask it beause not every cymbal sounds exacttly the same, although theyre the exact same cymbal i ask this as well because you wont hit it as hard in jazz as you will in rock music i usually crash my rides a lot

  • @fs04pro - You missed the point. It's you who decides what the cymbal fits with, you don't need an expert for that.

It's kind of like tasting ketchup and asking a cook if it's any good with chocolate.

  • @fs04pro Totally!

  • wat snare? sry i kno you get asked this alot

  • We use the Yamaha 14x5.5 Brass Snare Drum with die cast hoops in 99.5% of our videos.

  • @memphisdrumshop Of course other than the demonstrations of the snares! :P

Btw, love that Dw Edge video!

  • @memphisdrumshop seems like you should sell it...

  • no you said you burried it. i was wondering why you burried it

  • oh sorry. misread your comment. it's said to give the cymbal a different kind of characteristic if you bury it in the ground. Sabian just recently did the same thing with i think 100? of their artisan rides.

  • i dont know what the hell that means, but i can't stop laughing.

  • This is the ideal sound in a ride cymbal for me!!!

  • legendary sound !
