  • This is awesome! Good job.

The kitty is really cute haha

  • @anatete1 Thanks! My husband modeled him for me. I really ought to do some more animations with him.

  • Hey what program did you use and what program do you suggest? And how long did these take you? I'm hoping to become an animator of some sort. Please respond!

  • @MasterMario22 I used Maya, and it's what I suggest...but it's expensive! The best bet would be to try a cheaper animation program and work up from there. Each shot took me less than 40 working hours. I hope you have good luck trying to become an animator. It's a great line of work. <3

  • Definitely lead with the cat rubbing against the leg, saving karate guy for last =) It would also help to actually have someone else dub your lines. You can find lots of people on amateur boards who'd be willing to help you out (effectively 2 lines of dialogue). It would sound a lot better.

  • @GlamRockDesigns lol start a demo reel with the most lacking shot? right on man. lol

  • Impressive! Well done! I would be very proud of this too! When you go work for Disney Pixar and or make your own video games (if that's what you want to do of course) I wouldn't be surprised :P

  • wow, nice job. i like this

  • Nice Vid, having trouble deciding whether to go into the DAD program or game art program,. I want to work with 3d and other mediums as well. Any advice?

  • @foxbobby78 OMG! I'm soooo sorry I didn't see this sooner. I'd say that DAD is all 2D and Game Art is all 3D...so it's not an easy choice. Which do you prefer? Choose that one and then study the other on your own. You can do it! ^_^

  • I like the cat animation part :)

  • @tGJimo if you an animator your skill is based on acting not modeling

  • Hey Jimo, those mixes that you spin...those aren't even your own productions! Hell, I doubt they're even vinyl...you're prolly just a lame MP3 downloading-button-pressin-DJ poser wannabe. You prolly post produce your mixes--they're most likely not even live drops! Oh and by the way, they suck...and you should get a sex change or stop being so homo because judging by your songlists are so ghey my ass hurts.

@Alexis: nice work. Lovin the cat.

  • cool

  • Is this part of the digital arts and design bachelors curriculum. Ill be attending in march and this looks rad.

  • no this is part of the Computer Animation program. DAD gets After Effects, Photoshop and a number of other programs. I'm presuming this was done in Maya, and DAD only gets an introductory course in 3D.

  • Great animation!!

  • cool shit man

  • great job!

  • this is very good!

i have heard that song before but i can't remember where

  • i love that cat!!!!!!! soo cute! and very good animation!

  • wow! Really, great work! The facial animation on the first one was priceless

  • OMG KIIIIIIITYYYYYY! :3

  • Your reel is one of the better animations reels from Full Sail

  • hahahaha RON WEASLEY!

  • omg the kitty~

  • Loved your final shot with the boy and his teddy. Great acting on that one.

  • haha i like it, great work! I'm shooting to go toward animation - good inspiration, thanks.

  • Great reel. Hope you have/get a job you like!

  • your amazing. yay full sail!

  • Thank you to everyone that has posted! You guys have no clue how happy it makes me to know that others are enjoying my work!

  • damn, bro. you SHOULD be proud of this. I finished the RA program and am now in the music business bachelor. pretty tight. sounds from the libraries the school offers? hahaha

  • That was pretty amazing. I only stumbled upon this cause my friend Stephen goes to Full Sail. Great job on that though, loved the cat :D

  • sweeeeet im going to full sail this september for Computer Animation

  • me too!

  • Nice stuff, just keep adding to it, you probably want it to be a little over 3 minutes, still nice work :D

  • I wanna do that!

  • Very nice, Alexis. I have a question though. Is that song from the Naruto OST? It sounds like the orchestrated version of one fot eh endings.

  • You, just won like ten thousand cool points. Yes, that is the third ending theme from Naruto-Harmonia by RHYTHM.

I'm a HUGE Narutard, so it was great to be able to slip that in there.

  • LOL the kitty!!!
