  • you forgot to mention that the new macbook does not have an optical drive...so if you are in the middle of a desert you cant waitch a DVD ..OR if you are on a plane ofcourse

  • I have to say it is a very good computer. But depending on the things you want to do it might not be the thing you are looking for. I notice that with it being so thing. There are no USB prots or anything for wired multimedia. So I really look at it as a great computer for wireless stuff. Other than that. I'm going to stick with my Mac Book Pro.

  • Well, dou youe remember the time when floppy disk disappered from all Lap tops and mac books... i think this is the same thing, the cd drivers are going to be optional..

    This is evolution!!! or Macvolution... If you want it buy it... but if you don't like it.. just keep your MBPro

  • Good summary although I don't agree that the MAB pricing is so reasonable. Better off with a standard MacBook in reality.
