This man is comming from Iran?? Even people in a free country like Holland the most musicians are not able to make there mind so free to produce this kind of beautiful music. I have deeply respect for Mohsen Namjoo!!
And because of his music I respect the people en the country Iran even more. If a musician like this come from this country there is a hope for Iran.
What a masterpiece! Thank you Mohsen jan! Please support our artists and respect their art by buying their art! That is the only way we can progress and develop our art, culture, heritage and the artists that help us preserve it. This is one way to achieve a truly progressive, free and democratic Iran!
Amazing song, music and voice! That's among all ingredients of a brilliant work as it is. Well done. I particularly like your creative talent ... keep up with the good job.
kheyli psycho-eee emrouz bare 10omie ke daram gooshesh midam...hich chizi az syd barrett kam nadare...faghat mayeye sharme ke hamchin ghoolhaye musici dast rasi be emkanate zabte khoob nadaran...
correction: they are really bad, not just him. He sucks, but so do his bad members... wow, who the fuck are these people? Sounds like that Kiosk crap...
Mohsen, you definitely have the courage to be different. Many people wrongly think that Traditional or SONNATI means repetition of what is already there.. But, you broke that cowardly consevetive trend Keep up the good and progressive work.. Do not care for the average audience, but care for your own music and heart.. You definitely dont want to be another one of our ((HonarMandaan!!!!)). Keep up your Excelent work...
A wonderful song, fresh and ground breaking! He is a master of his craft. I wish we had more musicians like him to experiment with the Iranian music. I will be looking forward to buy his album for sure.
oh my god, can't stop crying, this is just great, can't find any word to describe this song...............namjoo, you're the contemporary talent of persian music.......proud of you
This is fantastic music. I discovered it by chance....and its so great. I hope he comes to Paris and I hear about it to go and see him....why didnt I hear this when I was in Iran!!
I think it's become part of the Iranian culture to bitch about money regardless of the circumstnaces. Mr. Namjoo is a supremely rare artist and the money we spend on his concert or cd's is to support independent and original thinking. Of course we could go on bitching about money and talking about cars and superficial shit since that's what most Iranians' concern themselves with. How many songs per dollar do you consider a deal? Or do you want to go up on the stage and bargain with him?
Usually about $3000 goes to the house, about 25% to the promoter(Yek Iranie sharlatane los angelesi) and the other $12,000-$15,000 goes to agha-Mohsen and his band (minues hotel, taxi, chelokabab and airline tickets).
He'll be in San Francisco on Sep 6th, which is a Friday. But they're charging $75 and $125 per ticket and it's only a solo. I went to an entire day concert at the Golden Gate park where 11 internationally acclaimed artists performed for $90. Then they're charging $125 to watch dadashi Namjoo from the ground level... Don't get me wrong! I think he's the best Iranian artist from after the revolution, vali mage che khabare dige?
Because they know San Francisco and the fact that everything is ridiculously overpriced there. Also the fact that many Iranians would spend the $125 for themselves or for their new Eye-rainian girlfriends to prove their generousity and to show off their new Mercedes or Bee-Em-Veh :)))
u r sooo right NiloufarM this is my feeling too well said !I don't drink and I don't use drug but everytime I do listen to his work specialy this one it tekes me somewhere else I do feel like I am drunk and I am out of this bloody world .
