I want to expand on Pyonshimmie's statement and explain to you that this is not a pine seed. This is a pine CONE. A pine SEED is like a little nut that comes from inside a pine CONE. A pine CONE can have many pine NUTS or pine SEEDS inside of it, not just the one. We are watching a pine CONE close.

That is a pine CONE and there are NO seeds in there because they fall out while still on the tree. The seeds have wings like a maple seeds and "fly" down in a propeller-like fashion. Cool video, though.

@sidnomis1 LOL, yes. true. Google says pine cones come from pine trees or any conifer or evergreen tree that bears fruit. But i say pinecones come in a red bag from Michael's Craft store and the smell like cinnamon.

no once its turned brown and is open the seeds have falled out. they fall out when still on the tree the pine cone hols the seeds
