It is the most beautiful scene in TORTILLA FLAT. Hedy Lamarr is much more "glamorous" than her character in Steinbeck's book !!

I've read the book many times and it is my far the best I've ever read, but haven't seen the film. Does it do the book justice?

This is one of my all-time favorites!  Love the scenes with Frank Morgan as the "Pirate".
