ok so... i know that i commented on this video over two years ago lol but i just read your description about this video. if you haven't gotten into anywhere already im just going to let you know that with the things that you're doing right now im sure that you could get into many conservatories in america. you're better than some of the graduate students at the north carolina school of the arts which is where i go to school. put together some classical pieces and audition. you'll do great!
first of all, good job... i can tell that you took this to the woodshed... and, nice non-intrusive or barely-noticeable circular breath at the end. One of the things i would work on if i were you: don't try so hard to play all the right notes.. it sounds mechanical.. it sounds like it is challenging to the listener(believe me, i know it is hard). it is not so important to tounge every note perfectly, but it is important to create a musical line. make it sound easy, and it will have musical depth
That was Outstanding! it makes me want to go practice even more...Thanks for the encouragement...on Oct 19 i'll be playing the National Anthem for the Miami Dolphins with the sax this time...i'll put it out as soon as i get the clip...
