I have written at least 6 letters to pizza express, but no replies as yet! We need to keep up the pressure and force a vegan option on the menu. It will come, but will take time.

Carlsbergahead, I think you need to evaluate why you are the saying these things. Why do you want to be nasty to vegan? I can understand if you are a teenager getting a kick out of putting people down, but you need to realise we are only doing this for others benefit. How is stopping animal abuse a bad thing?

What your really saying is "I want a section on the menu, to make me feel special, so that when you order you can say "ILL HAVE THE VEGAN PIZZA!" So that everyone knows your a Vegan.

@marcluc1988 Why is it that you are choosing pizza express? When they are so much more accomadating than other resturant chains. They use dough that doesnt contain egg, and they will cook your pizza without cheese on, why is that not enough for you?

@carlsbergahead I t5hink you've misunderstood. Pizza Hut has been chosen exactly because of the reason you gave. It's not a case of 'have a go a them'. Exactly the opposite. "Since you're the most favourable and accomodating, please would you go one step further and do this for vegans and vegans are likely to become faithful customers."

They replied with a very encouraging response. They said that if we took along vegan cheese, they would use that instead."

i live in the real world and let me tell you something. there was a store that opened up across the street from me that only sold vegan dishes. i got a menu in the mail and they had vegan sausages! i assumes they were just partially inflated balloons but before i could ask them, they went out of business. moral of the story, it aint catching on. vegans are and always be outcasts.

I sent them an emailing asking for a vegan option and they emailed me back saying they are prepared to make something specially for vegan BUT, in The Vegan Magazine, they said that sometimes they refuse if the manager isn't in the shop to authorise it.

yes, I'm all up for eating vegetarians...

it would make some improvements all round, firstly it would prove to all the cynics and doubters how wonderfully COMMITTED to saving poor defenceless animals they truly are... and it would give those people who still wish to eat meat a much healthier option.

As a useful side effect it would also help reduce the amount of vids out there that try to force the opinion of the one to the many... we have adverts for that.

It's a win-win situation baby!
