  • ok. another question. So (assuming you made the entire costume) what did you make the many (white colored) part of the costume out of? I used ployester/silk for the bow. Would that work in white as the main suit? Or should i use a different part of fabric? Thanks so much, this vid was super helpful! I successsfuly made a Sailor Mars bow! (working on the second one on the the back now!!) XD thanks!! ~Nya! ~~

  • @CocoRoseDoki For the main suit, we just wore white, fitted t-shirts. Congrats! Good luck!

  • making a Mermaid Melody bow now. U kno how the ones on the back of the dresses have long like "tail/end" things? How do i make those longer? I guess like the ones on the back of the Sailor Senshi costumes 2....thnks!

  • @CocoRoseDoki hmmm...not sure, maybe just extend the fabric ends?

  • So I'm attempting this. I want this bow (purple for Sailor Mars) to be on the front of the outfit (as opposed to the back). How long should the fabric be? REPLY QUICKLY! thanks!

  • @CocoRoseDoki I think 20 inches in length for the front.

  • My god this couldn't have taken more then a half hour even by hand! Looks surprisingly nice!

Very helpful, considering i have a last minute cosplay on hand. Good job!

  • THE PINK ONE IS SAIlOR JUPITER, MY FAVE!! I was her for halloween this year. You can just sew a piece of paper into a fabric and bunch it together then sew on the little piece of fabric in the middle and add another piece of fabric slipped in under the middle piece. Thats how we made it for Mini Moon, Pluto and Jupiter.

  • how many inches do u cut for the back bow....cuz i know the front bow is smaller then the back......

  • @aet523 I don't really remember, but I guess it's just how big you want it in comparison to your whole outfit.

  • @aet523 I want to say nine inches? It depends on how big you want the back bow and have it proportional to your skirt.

  • You should really press seams as you go, it'll look much cleaner.

  • didn't understand how you fold D: help, please?

  • @theoldversion I think I just looked up "how to fold a bow" on youtube and based it off that

  • SO to make it longer u just cut it longer?

  • @TurtleDove81 Yeah, use more fabric.

  • great job girl!!!

  • Thank you so much. And your bow looks so pretty.

  • there's another way of making the bow x

the way you done it you didnt sew the ends o.O i think..

or you could turn the whole thing inside out and sew it but leaving an inch un stiched in the middle, then turn it back -inside out, this way the whole thing apart from the middle in not sewd x this will get hidden by the ribbon in the middle x

i like the way you done it x

i normally make a sqaure x but i guess that way is better for the bows with the ends xxx

    :) xxx

  • OMG You did those all by hand?! WOW! Gives me a good chance go do it too. How much fabric did you have to get all together for the bows? Just need to know. :D Thanks.

  • @cutechong Hmm...I want to say maybe a yard or a yard and a half?

  • @kwako21 Ok THANKS!

  • @kwako21 Ok THANKS! Wasn't that hard to use SILK and not cotton?

  • @cutechong No. The needle went through fine.

  • Omg awesome! Thx for this vid it helped alot :D

  • @kwako21 wow! sooo on my favorites! ur great at this!

  • @imthefunnygirl No problem! Good luck!

  • @sailorlexykitty ...You're welcome!

  • @sailorlexykitty your welcome!

  • he is this bow you made in the vid for the frount...? and do u have some tips for the back bow as for length and width ? ty :)

  • @ELLEandEMMS ...This bow is for the front. There is another video on my channel called "Making sailormoon costumes" and it has a short clip of me making the back bow. As for the length and width...I guess it just depends on the scale of the person wearing it. Sorry, I don't have precise numbers. I didn't even really measure at al lfor the back. Good luck!

  • before you sew it, how do you fold it?

  • @stephaniesuperhero

    Um...ti's hard to explain...kinda like..inside out?

  • @kwako21 oh okiee thanks :)

uhmmm how did you attach it to the shirt btw? like did you stich? hot glue gun? how did you sew?

  • @xmaryxtheresex

We just used safety pins to pin them to our white shirts. We pinned the top part also so it would stay upright. You can also use...I forgot the name of the thing, but it's this type of fabric thing that you iron on to make your fabric sturdier. Hope this helps!

  • Super Kawaii!
