This guy thinks he is a military commander moving pieces around on a map. If the stars don't align and the tooth fairy does not wave his magical wand, then his filly will not attend the "Race for the Ages".
Charles Cella should leave the purse at 5 million and let the coward and his trainer stay at home.
He didn't want to go out to Santa Anita and he doesn't want to show up at Oaklawn
Here's a guy running scared and its become laughable!
Wish I could rember where I read it (I think on one of the other Haskell videos - but not sure). Two horses were mentioned: Native Dancer and another horse. (In addition to this I have read that American horses are bred for speed but European horses for stamina and soundness, which doesn't help either - 1100 to 1300 lbs of horse on their delicate slender legs - yikes!.) If I ever come across the post I'll put it on your video.
Totally agree - she has been pushed to the limit - worry about her health and safety - even if she doesn't get (American) HOY - another win is not worth it. don't know if this is true or not but I read on another post that she is from the same bloodline that has produced soft bones (like the immortal Ruffian). Hope it's not true! I dont' feel she was 100% herself at the Woodward - running on empty? makes it more amazing that she won - won on class, guts and heart.
Thanks for the video - great to hear the crowd's excitement. What a horse she is - amazing. People forget that she is just 3 yrs old -what she has accomplished is truly remarkable - winning against filies her own age, winning against the boys her own age, winning against older males, winning on different tracks, in all kinds of weather - wow!

Thanks yes please do, A lot of thoroughbred breeders go to Europe to purchase their horses to mix the bloodlines.

@Tangospell1 I know you posted this comment a year ago, but I want to add I think it is interesting how the horses are trained over in Europe too.

I wonder which relative produces soft bones? Native Dancer? They both have/had his blood.
