hey i installed the venos on a 95 m3 without any tools. one think im not sure about. i moved the cam that the venos runs on. if you look on the video its the one thats on the screen. but i didnt take the chain off. because isnt that how the venos adjusts it? so after turning it, when you turn the car on after putting it all back together, wouldnt it adjust itself back to how its suppose to be?
@jcadlols - I believe most (if not all) cams designed for the E36 are designed with the VANOS in mind. Though, to be honest, you're always best off contacting the manufacturer to be sure. I've never heard of a cam set that would require you to de-activate the VANOS. Maybe for some race applications, but not the common ones (Sunbelt, Schrick, etc.).
The cam didn't move when you engaged it. sum ting wong?

Will the vanos work with larger cam profiles or does it need to be adjusted or even removed? Just wondering :)
