The only serious presidential candidates in the United States (for 2008) were Ralph Nader (Independent) and Cynthia McKinney (Green). I've voted for Nader for President 4 X, and written him in during non-presidential election years. There are many more offices than just US Prez.

Ralph Nader would be the best on environment, animal rights, justice, and the economy.

The UK is the leading country when it come to the reductance of emmisions has reduced it's greenhouse Emmisions from 1990-2004 by 58.8% followd by Denmark 22.2% , Russian Federation-20% and Germany -18,2%

The US Greenhouse Emmisions even rose 20% in that timespan only India and China had bigger Emmishon risings

The speed limit one block from my house is 70mph.  I need a car that goes a lot faster than that for acceleration purposes. Also, it's not good to drive a car at top speed all the time. I see some of them are faster but that one had 70mph as a top speed.

LOL, I don't live on the median. The freeway is just nearby. I live here so I can have greater access to the whole metro area. This way I have a greater area to search for new jobs if I need to. I'm about 4 miles from the freeway that runs the other way. That means I can get just about anywhere in town in about 45 min or less. I can reach 90% in 35 min or less. If I lived 15 min from the freeway, that would change everything.

I'm not really sure on who I think the greener party is, but I will say this: I tend to notice that Democrats (at least around here, in the bible belt) take global warming much more serious than the Republicans for the sole fact that they don't 'believe' in global warming. I just can't get past why someone thinks of global warming is a belief, and not a fact. Doesn't make sense to me. But for the most part, I'd say Democrat candidates seem to strive more to stop global warming.
