  • Yep I remember this commercial it was a huge deal when it went down to 49.99. I had a friend who got the new model just because it was cheap and he was sick of blowing on his games.

  • its a pizza !

  • 0:33 SHUDDUP. YOU DON'T TELL ME HOW MUCH TV I'VE WATCHED.

    *changes the channel*

  • Battle- evil... robots?

  • Boy, they cleaned up advertising for games since then.

  • BATTLE evil.... robots?

  • I spent $59.99 on a complete NES in almost brand new shape this year so that's pretty good.

  • @WebVMan Me too. Wait a minute. I'm responding to myself. NESCEPTION

  • @WebVMan Yes you can get good deals if you know where to look or get lucky. The only time they get really expensive is boxed with everything from 1994.

  • Aren't those top loaders worth a lot (unopened) these days?

  • @DD2225 they are worth even more than the average NES just for the console alone, let alone in the box

  • Whaaa!!!!! Little Caesar's pizza costs $8.99 while NES costs $50!? Wow! They're a great deal to have: Eat pizza and play Nintendo. $50 for an NES!? That's like the same price as most PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii games today.

  • Hmm, I want to get an NES top loader so I can shower with it and see what happens.

  • I have the game "Zoda's Revenge" and my ol' nintendo console. awesome but not works in my LCD tv. I almost cry when i finish startropics II, because was my 1st game that i finish.

  • For the price of a wii game I could have bought a NES!

  • If that advert was on today some stupid wanker would actaully take a shower with it and sue the company.

  • snes

  • They could charge so little for a console back then because the commercials were so cheap.

  • Dang. Little Caesar's prices have hardly changed since the 80s. You can still get two large pizzas for $10.

  • I like how he goes "You have watched to much TV already" XD

  • we should have bought it.

$49.99 back then, $170 today, only 17 years later.

  • god i miss little caesars

  • Is that the voice of Sniz from Sniz and Foundue?

  • weird thing is that particular model is quite expensive now.

  • $8.99..how I wish prices were still like this D:

  • MMMM... Little Caesars, Huh,Hey you inconsiderate Miami Vice wearing prick leave my dead Grandma and her money out of this before I shove that NES Dogbone controller up you Crocket backside for yelling at me though the TV.

  • i found one of those at a garage sale for 7 bucks

  • YAY grandma's 49.95 dollar check... oh shit.... she didn't give enough for tax.... well no nes for me.

  • Pizza Pizza!

  • avgn has thoes

  • If I had a time machine right now.... ugh. Fifty dollars. FIFTY DOLLARS.

  • I CAN EVEN SHOWER WITH IT

  • I want 2 pizzas for $8.99 with unlimited toppings.

  • WHERE DO I GET THIS?

  • I have one of those, as well as "Zoda's Revenge." Haven't had it hooked up in a while, though.

  • HEY IT'S GEORGE LUZ from BAND OF BROTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA

  • Its kind of ironic they promoted two of the kinda lame NES games.

  • Is that Sam Rockwell ?

  • pizza pizza! XD

  • Lmao, it's Final Fantasy's Zack Fair advertising a game console - how fitting!

We love you Zack, errr... Rick : )

  • Haha yeah!

When I saw this commercial I was like "Isn't that Zack? lol

  • Pizza Pizza

  • lol he doesnt even sound sure about fighting robots in megaman

  • I wish Nintendo would re-release the Top Loader NES with AV Outputs for the same price.

  • F...K!!! Wish I could go back in time and buy one of those for cheap.

  • 2 pizzas for for $8.99 and an nes for $50 things were so cheap then

  • @brickman409 Not really, minimum wage was $4.25. Also the NES model 2 came out a while after the SNES. It is comparable to buying a GameCube right now, which would cost you right around $50. Little Ceasars Pizzas are $4.99 today, a 50 cent difference. Given that minimum wage has nearly doubled, things were way more expensive back then. I always hear that talk, video games are so expensive these days. Back in the SNES days, a new game was $69.99-$79.99, today $49.99-$59.99.

  • @brickman409 This was released after the NES was replaced...that's why it was "affordable."

  • @brickman409 what r u talkin about its cheaper now u can get a nes for like $4

  • @nathancool54

maybe the old model in bad condition but not in mint condition. your gonna have to fork over about $500 today to get a nes top loader mint in the box!

  • @brickman409 In the box and everything? Yes if that's what you mean but a free nes 2 only goes for around 100-150 depending on where you go. You'll get an even better deal if you look for just the console and if you want them buy the controllers separately.

  • @Luigi84289

yeah but thats still more than $50!

  • An NES for $50, that's pretty sweet. Too bad budget consoles today are around $150 instead :(

  • okaaaay

  • hardly anybody had tvs with av inputs when the nes was new stuff. You didn't really need anything higher quality for it anyway. interesting to note though, when the N64 came out and they started making the so called "mini super nintendo, it lacked the rf out that was on previous models, coming only with the av cables, with an rf adapter being sold separately.

  • i wish i had a new nes for 50 bucks.

  • wow an NES for 50 bucks

  • Put Little Caesars Pizza in the tags.

  • Done.

  • Lol :D

  • LITTLE CEASERS FTW!!!!!!!

  • the ford ranger wants the nes

  • Comment removed

  • Ive been looking for one of these for a reasonable price for the longest time.

  • Ya $80?
