I believe that at present (late Nov 2011) there is no steam in acton here (the line's main steam locos Marri and Chiltern Shuttle being o.o.s. for various reasons) & to be brutally honest there is no point in visiting (from my point of view) if there is no steam. I might just as well push my petrol lawnmower around my lawn as ride behind an i.c. loco; it is about as exciting! This is a lovely railway, though, and I hope sufficient funds become available for the steamers to be put back in service
