The problem is that I use a stand that's made for lightweight keyboards (it's a single X stand). I'm gonna buy a double X stand or a Yamaha L85, which is made for the P85.

My birthday is in 17 days, so that may come in handy ;)

Sort of. What I hear in your stuff is artistic expression through touch variation and rythmic nuance. Those expressions are not written, but felt in the moment. You don't know exactly what they'll be until they are. Evolve that. Try it with chords and melody. It's like driving a new road or having a conversation with yourself. It's what I do. When it works, it's beautiful. When it doesn't, I toss it and try again. Kudos to you.

Haha, I definitively need a new piano stand. The one I use is meant for keyboard, but the Yamaha LP5 (piano stand for Yamaha P85) is quite expensive :(

I see. By the way the LP5 is a pedal set (dampers) without the stand. L85 is the name of the stand. :-)

The LP5 pedal set look like it's made from cheap plastic... I might buy a L85 and a single pedal.

L85 costs about 100 euro. FC4 pedal costs 45 (on-off) and FC3 costs 70 (realistic sustain with differents levels)

Thanks for clarifying that, I wasn't sure if the FC4 was just on-off or in levels. So I'll be needing a L85 ( € 105 @ thomann ) and a FC3 set ( € 59 @ thomann ). That's 164 euro, and that's quite much.

I think the Yamaha L85 is overpriced. I mean, it's just a stand, what's so special about it?

Do you know if the Yamaha LP-5 also got realistic sustain with different levels?

I'm pretty sure that the LP5 is just on-off as well. Not that you really need different levels anyway... unless you're a really advanced player.

When you're in the store, also compare them with headphones on.

Also note that you'll maybe need extra hardware to connect it to your computer. My laptop doesn't have a Audio Input, so I use a Behringer UCA 202 to connect my piano to my computer.

If you search on YouTube for "tom hanks oscar", in that video Tom Hanks gets his oscar for his role in Forrest Gump. When they announce it, they play the Feather Theme. I wish I had been there :)

Well we are our own worst critics. I didn't hear anything wrong with it at all, sounded perfect.

I'm the same way though, a lot of my uploads I'm unsure about or have mixed feelings on certain parts etc. but other people usually enjoy them (except my old ones, they're terrible lol), so meh. =P
