  • @trashpicker1970 I see you found it :-) For anyone else looking, it was a guest appearance by Squirrel Nut Zippers doing their song, "Put A Lid On It".

  • lol this is like a kids version of Monty Python

  • Holy S***t!!!

    Now That's a HAMBURGER!!!!!

*Reminds me of the Burger King Commercial,..The Guy that say's... "Go Back There and Get Me a Whopper!"

  • "Singe an itty bitty, Charlie!"

  • I'd be scared out of my wits, too.

  • Didn't take any time to cook that up!

  • The sick laugh at 1:15 cracked me up! Grover FOREVER!

  • Does anyone remember the restaurant scene with grover and the count, where the count hypnotizes grover to bring him an endless supply of hot dogs? Could someone please put it up?

  • Now THAT's service!

  • 12,000 restaurants in the city and he always comes to this one -___-'

  • I LAUGHED SO HARD. I miss these segments.

  • omg i remember watching this when i was a kid i couldnt stop laughin lol

  • To this day Grover and this same blue head doll are my favorite characters from sesame street

  • Does ANYBODY have the old Grover skit where he says 'Beady eyes and big blue head'? That one always cracked me up!

  • @MenollytheBeagle Yup, sawing14s has it, look for "Grover uses his 'waiter's memory'", classic!

  • @TinyDancer500 You know i have the other version that the time when grover is screaming when whatever happend.

  • @TinyDancer500 MMM HMM

  • @MenollytheBeagle :

Round and tasty on a bun...

Pickles, french fries, yum, yum yum!

In a hurry to be fed...

Beady eyes and big blue head!

  • @MenollytheBeagle sawing14s Has It

  • @MenollytheBeagle Yep "Grover uses his waiter's memory," is the title. That just might be the best skit between Grover and fat blue lol. Hliarious Grover pegged him good, a large set of beady eyes within that fat blue bubble.

  • LOL "don't wait for the laugh."

  • Grover hs always been the under dog like daffy duck is to bugs bunny

  • THUMBS UP FOR GROVER!!!

  • lol @01:46 when Grover screams

  • I always pictured Charlie as played by Sweetums or whatever his name was. And how I loved this sketch as a child... :)

  • Maybe this is where White Castle got the inspiration for small burgers.

  • Lol @ Fuddruckers I used to work there and and had an experience similar to this.. There were two sizes to choose from back then and one day I was handing out the trays at the pickup counter someone goes "this was not what I wanted ...this hamburger is so small ...I want the big one!" immediately thought of this skit and I had a hard time to keep from giggling...

  • 46 people had trouble with the big one.

  • grover was my favorite.....im only remembering why just now

  • @JAtria I always figured Charlie was another monster. Probably a big disgruntled-looking one wearing a chefs hat and an apron.

  • BurgerZilla! XD

  • Priceless, now you would have to have a Halal burger.

  • omg i remember this hahahahahaha! this used to be one of my favorite skits. LOL

  • get rid of elmo, and while were at it get rid of abby cadaby also

  • When I saw this clip as a little kid, and Grover said "Singe an itty-bitty," I thought he was saying "singelette" something-or-other, and I started using the word "singelette" for various things, like to spray something out of a can was to singelette it. I made up a lot of words based on things I'd hear incorrectly when I was really young.

  • i want to buy all the sesame street puppets for collection. anybody know where i can buy these original puppets?

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • old sesame street like this was the best. i miss this.

  • lol..hamburger's not on a plate...it's missing cheese...lol

  • I'm still waiting for someone to upload the skit where Grover went nuts in the kitchen because Fat Blue didn't make up his mind; first he wanted strips of bacon & a few eggs...then when Grover finally got it right after a long time, he wanted two hot dogs & two pickles...that's when Grover went nuts...lol

  • I always wanted to see what Charlie looked like. Grover calls on him all the time in the kitchen. =P

  • @JAtria Is Charlie A Monster Or A Human?

  • you should watch Man Vs Food they serve hamburger that size.

  • he sounds like fredfred burger

  • Grover works at White Castle?

  • HA HA HA ! the burger.

  • FCUKING CLASSIC..

    ~

    ..and i'm forty one!!!

  • Grover was always my favorite muppet. When I was a baby I carried a stuffed Grover around the house all the time, and my first word was "Groders". :)

  • @itsalliebench

    ~

Lol. Grover rocks here in England too..

    ..and i'm forty one!!!

  • Was Sesame Street back in the day more entertaining and less educational?

  • @GrilloJ123 It was more entertaining AND more educational. The Sesame Street of today is a far cry from the great show it used to be when I was growing up. Everything about the show was better back then. They decided to dumb the show down and that is really sad. The best time to be a kid was in the 70's and 80's, except for technology we had it much better.

  • 2 size

    flea size

    and behemoth

  • LOL! 1:46

  • I love sesame street!

  • "I want it very rare." "OK, SINGE AN ITTY-BITTY CHARLIE!!" LOL

  • Ha! Ha! Ha! I can remember watching these skits when I was a nipper soooo long ago and 30+ years later they are still spot on. Love Grover saying "No,no,no. Here, let me just sit down, talk to you". Brilliant!! The absolute perfect show for kids & parents to watch together.

Oh, and a big shout out going to Charlie in the kitchen too :-)

  • awww I remember this episode! God back then they had the classics. So funnY!

  • As a kid I really loved the skits with Grover as a waiter. Now I'm all grown up and they're just awesome.

  • Oh Grover.. so underrated!

  • That's how fast food restaurants are in my area xD

  • "It's a waiter joke."

"Well, don't wait for the laugh."

    lol!

  • Man verses Food would like that BIG hamburger!

  • Hey, he ASKED for both and then he complains. What a jerk! :p

  • This was my favorite!!

  • Wimpy from Popeye would like this.

  • Why does he keep going back to that restaurant?

  • whoever voices grover is a GOD hahaha

  • @girlsLIKEchocolate Frank Oz. He is also the voice of Yoda and many of the most famous voices ever.

  • @girlsLIKEchocolate That would be Frank Oz, the same guy that performs Bert, Cookie Monster, and Yoda from Star Wars.

  • Wtachn brubaker and yaphette coto reminds us of fat blue

  • thumbs up for the big hamburger :)

  • LOL I cant take it. I love it. :)

  • WILL YOU BRING ME THE BIG HAMBURGER

  • "Awwwww RIGHT Charlieeee....BROIL the BIGGIE!!!"

LOL! This should still be shown to kids. Innocent fun!!!

  • @ThoughtTraveler I'm 38 and I find myself saying "Broil the biggie!" to myself on occasion.

  • Ha, ha, ha! Ah... The good old days of Sesame Street.

  • lmao, sesame street is the best, grover is a clown, cracks my shit up

  • lol I never knew the guys name was fat blue..

  • Lol..gives Krystal some competition with that little hamburger...lol

  • Customer should've listened. He had no idea the big hamburger was a giant one. A giant could eat that!

  • The recent sesame street episodes rarely have puppet skits like this. It's nothing but computer generated mini shows like Abby's flying school, Bert and Ernie's adventure or something like that, Murray talking to kids, and Elmo's World. What happened to the good old days with the puppet skits? O___O

  • @Ant29 Jim Henson's death caused it. I believe.

  • @Ant29 Creative writing died when Elmo and his corporate sponsors took over. Everything had to be child appropriate. Long ago it was a show for both child and parents now its a show for a child and his nanny.

  • @Dtitilator I think Abby is part of Elmo's corporation since Abby is showing up every SINGLE time. Can't she just make her self disappear? It's sickening to see her and Elmo taking over the show every time.

  • @Ant29 computers, obviously

  • @andyman820 yeah. Everything is done on computer because it's cheaper.

  • @Ant29

Sesame Street was the best. The skits are funny when you are adult, too. The new Sesame Street is blech :P

  • @darrenroskam The new one sucks. Now, it's CGI because its cheaper and doesn't require puppeteers or raw material like felt or cotton.

  • lol

  • Mother Creator thank you for Seasame Street. Can we watch grover?

  • grover is so cute

  • Grover: would you like a side of fries with that? small or extra large?

  • Be careful when ordering "Super-size" ;)

  • That's no Quarter pounder

  • @NIDORAX That thing weighs far more than a quarter-pound. How about a quarter TON?

  • @jeopardy60611 Gives a new meaning of .... supersize! Want fries with that?

  • lol "little"hamburger and "big"hamburger they just take the piss!

  • haha... they must have been thinking of the white castle burgers...

  • News for today: Grover Monster killed by big hamburger!!!

  • man, this is good comedy right there, a great thing about sesamy street, is that the kids love it for their reasons, and the adults can still appretiate the little touches, references and refined humor.

  • can u do mr johnson at chicken castle please?

  • MC DONALDS DOLLAR MENU

  • - OH NO IT'S YOU!

    *LOUD BOOM*

    Groove

    1969-2007

  • BRRRRRROIL THE BIGGIE! ...classic! <3

  • It took Charlie only five seconds to broil that huge-ass burger...

  • @animationeer He had one ready before Fat Blue even sat down.

  • WOAH!!! That big hamburger's about the size of a wheel of a monster truck. LOL

  • great reminder of my childhood, thx.

  • Ah, yes. A character named Fat Blue. Kids this is back in the day when a fat kid was the exception not the rule.
